Jordan Design-Build GroupWith Craftsman details throughout the rest of the home, our clients wanted their new kitchen to have transitional elements such as Shaker style doors, a farmhouse sink, warm wood tones, and other timeless features such as a custom hood and natural stone counters. The beautiful Glorious White marble counters have a soft honed finish and the stunning marble backsplash ties everything together to complete the look. The two-toned cabinets pair a rich stained cherry island with soft white perimeter cabinets. Brushed brass accents on the appliances pulls, cabinet hardware, lights and plumbing fixtures add another layer of sophistication. An induction range, dishwasher drawers, undercounter microwave, and four-door smart refrigerator amp up the functionality of this cook’s kitchen.
Design Studio WestStep into a kitchen that exudes both modern sophistication and inviting warmth. The space is anchored by a stunning natural quartzite countertop, its veined patterns reminiscent of a sun-drenched landscape. The countertop stretches across the kitchen, gracing both the perimeter cabinetry and the curved island, its gentle curves adding a touch of dynamism to the layout.
White oak cabinetry provides a grounding contrast to the cool quartzite. The rich, natural grain of the wood, paired with a crisp white paint, create a sense of airiness and visual lightness. This interplay of textures and tones adds depth and dimension to the space.
Breaking away from the traditional rectilinear lines, the island features curved panels that echo the countertop's gentle sweep. This unexpected detail adds a touch of whimsy and softens the overall aesthetic. The warm vinyl flooring complements the wood cabinetry, creating a sense of continuity underfoot.
Alex DauleyIt was my pleasure to design this space for my clients who wanted to extend their basement kitchen and create a calming haven for both relaxation and entertainment.
The brief was to create an uncluttered space with clean lines, soft colours and a connection to nature.
We designed the custom made Maple kitchen to provide ample storage, keeping the surfaces free and the space feeling light, airy and open.
The adjoining dining space was designed with custom joinery incorporating a bar and hidden TV behind sliding artwork.
The final result is a beautiful example of exquisite craftsmanship and considered design.

HUX LondonWith their children grown up and pursuing further education, the owners of this property wanted to turn their home into a sophisticated space the whole family could enjoy. Although generously sized, it was a typical period property with a warren of dark rooms that didn’t suit modern life. As avid foodies and cooks, the family wanted an open kitchen-dining area where they could entertain their friends, with plentiful storage and a connection to the garden. As a favourite colour of the clients, ultra-marine blue became the starting point for the kitchen and ground floor design – this fresh hue extends to the garden to bring together the indoors and outdoors and creates a unified space.The deep ultra-marine shade was chosen for the handmade shaker style kitchen cabinetry with solid timber dovetail drawers, and then carried through into the dining area, hallway and sitting room in the form of bold artworks, striking tiles, and sumptuous upholstery. Rather than bring in lots of pattern, plenty of natural textures were chosen, such as marble, hammered brass and fluted glass to add interest. The clients are a foodie family and have multiple gadgets and machines to assist with cooking, so HUX London incorporated ample storage to provide space for their requirements

H. Miller BrosSet within an airy contemporary extension to a lovely Georgian home, the Siatama Kitchen is our most ambitious project to date. The client, a master cook who taught English in Siatama, Japan, wanted a space that spliced together her love of Japanese detailing with a sophisticated Scandinavian approach to wood.
At the centre of the deisgn is a large island, made in solid british elm, and topped with a set of lined drawers for utensils, cutlery and chefs knifes. The 4-post legs of the island conform to the 寸 (pronounced ‘sun’), an ancient Japanese measurement equal to 3cm. An undulating chevron detail articulates the lower drawers in the island, and an open-framed end, with wood worktop, provides a space for casual dining and homework.
A full height pantry, with sliding doors with diagonally-wired glass, and an integrated american-style fridge freezer, give acres of storage space and allow for clutter to be shut away. A plant shelf above the pantry brings the space to life, making the most of the high ceilings and light in this lovely room.
