Planet FurnitureThis recently completed project, in a mansion apartment in Harpenden, is a great example of how a modern kitchen with neutral colours can be perfect for an open living space. The light filled kitchen is from our Next125 range and has a Stone Grey Satin Lacquer finish and a Caesarstone Concrete Quartz worktop. Appliances from Siemens and Fisher & Paykel have been chosen for their innovative design and functionality but also look sleek and unobtrusive.
The design possibilities of the Next125 range means we were able to extend the cabinetry into the living space with the matching Media Unit which has Stone Grey base units. To unify the space between the kitchen and living areas the bespoke shelving of the media unit has been stained to match the Solid Oak breakfast bar in the kitchen area. To complete the look, the bright splashback in the kitchen provides an injection of colour which reflects the colour accents throughout the apartment.

EcoConfiance RénovationNous avons intégralement restauré cette ancienne dépendance dominant la plaine du Rhône, pour créer une maison d’amis lumineuse et accueillante. Nous avons démoli l’ensemble des intérieurs existants, et complètement repensé les surfaces avec l’agence Marlene Reynard architecte d'intérieur.
De l’enduit traditionnel à la chaux pour la façade, des menuiseries intégralement en aluminium, du travail d’ébénisterie sur mesure de la cuisine aux pièces de vie, nous avons tout mis en œuvre pour sublimer cette ancienne écurie de 40m2.
La gestion des volumes et le respect du bâti existant ont été au centre de cette rénovation. Ainsi, l’œil de bœuf central a été créé de toute pièce afin d’apporter de la lumière dans la chambre en respectant l’intimité des habitants, tout en donnant la touche finale à l’identité de cette petite maison Lyonnaise.

They worked alongside our team to handpick material from Warwick Fabrics and lifted the matte black curtain rail above the top of the windows to highlight those high Victorian ceilings.

Knight Custom HomesThis beautiful home is used regularly by our Calgary clients during the weekends in the resort town of Fernie, B.C. While the floor plan offered ample space to entertain and relax, the finishes needed updating desperately. The original kitchen felt too small for the space which features stunning vaults and timber frame beams. With a complete overhaul, the newly redesigned space now gives justice to the impressive architecture. A combination of rustic and industrial selections have given this home a brand new vibe, and now this modern cabin is a showstopper once again!

Barefoot DwellingPhase 2 of our Modern Cottage project was the complete renovation of a small, impractical kitchen and dining nook. The client asked for a fresh, bright kitchen with natural light, a pop of color, and clean modern lines. The resulting kitchen features all of the above and incorporates fun details such as a scallop tile backsplash behind the range and artisan touches such as a custom walnut island and floating shelves and a custom metal range hood. This kitchen is all that the client asked for and more!
Alair Homes PlanoOur clients were living in a Northwood Hills home in Dallas that was built in 1968. Some updates had been done but none really to the main living areas in the front of the house. They love to entertain and do so frequently but the layout of their house wasn’t very functional. There was a galley kitchen, which was mostly shut off to the rest of the home. They were not using the formal living and dining room in front of your house, so they wanted to see how this space could be better utilized. They wanted to create a more open and updated kitchen space that fits their lifestyle. One idea was to turn part of this space into an office, utilizing the bay window with the view out of the front of the house. Storage was also a necessity, as they entertain often and need space for storing those items they use for entertaining. They would also like to incorporate a wet bar somewhere!
We demoed the brick and paneling from all of the existing walls and put up drywall. The openings on either side of the fireplace and through the entryway were widened and the kitchen was completely opened up. The fireplace surround is changed to a modern Emser Esplanade Trail tile, versus the chunky rock it was previously. The ceiling was raised and leveled out and the beams were removed throughout the entire area. Beautiful Olympus quartzite countertops were installed throughout the kitchen and butler’s pantry with white Chandler cabinets and Grace 4”x12” Bianco tile backsplash. A large two level island with bar seating for guests was built to create a little separation between the kitchen and dining room. Contrasting black Chandler cabinets were used for the island, as well as for the bar area, all with the same 6” Emtek Alexander pulls. A Blanco low divide metallic gray kitchen sink was placed in the center of the island with a Kohler Bellera kitchen faucet in vibrant stainless. To finish off the look three Iconic Classic Globe Small Pendants in Antiqued Nickel pendant lights were hung above the island. Black Supreme granite countertops with a cool leathered finish were installed in the wet bar, The backsplash is Choice Fawn gloss 4x12” tile, which created a little different look than in the kitchen. A hammered copper Hayden square sink was installed in the bar, giving it that cool bar feel with the black Chandler cabinets. Off the kitchen was a laundry room and powder bath that were also updated. They wanted to have a little fun with these spaces, so the clients chose a geometric black and white Bella Mori 9x9” porcelain tile. Coordinating black and white polka dot wallpaper was installed in the laundry room and a fun floral black and white wallpaper in the powder bath. A dark bronze Metal Mirror with a shelf was installed above the porcelain pedestal sink with simple floating black shelves for storage.
Their butlers pantry, the added storage space, and the overall functionality has made entertaining so much easier and keeps unwanted things out of sight, whether the guests are sitting at the island or at the wet bar! The clients absolutely love their new space and the way in which has transformed their lives and really love entertaining even more now!

Paradise Tiny Homes LLCThick curly Hawaiian mango wood acts as a sill for this awning pass-through window. It's almost a bartop on its own.
This coastal, contemporary Tiny Home features a warm yet industrial style kitchen with stainless steel counters and husky tool drawers with black cabinets. the silver metal counters are complimented by grey subway tiling as a backsplash against the warmth of the locally sourced curly mango wood windowsill ledge. I mango wood windowsill also acts as a pass-through window to an outdoor bar and seating area on the deck. Entertaining guests right from the kitchen essentially makes this a wet-bar. LED track lighting adds the right amount of accent lighting and brightness to the area. The window is actually a french door that is mirrored on the opposite side of the kitchen. This kitchen has 7-foot long stainless steel counters on either end. There are stainless steel outlet covers to match the industrial look. There are stained exposed beams adding a cozy and stylish feeling to the room. To the back end of the kitchen is a frosted glass pocket door leading to the bathroom. All shelving is made of Hawaiian locally sourced curly mango wood. A stainless steel fridge matches the rest of the style and is built-in to the staircase of this tiny home. Dish drying racks are hung on the wall to conserve space and reduce clutter.
