“Rob and his crew did an excellent job revitalizing our backyard with new sod after a large tree fell in a recent storm and caused extensive damage in our backyard. Rob met with me personally to review what we wanted and turned around a quick estimate that he was able to work with me on based on our budget. Rob's Project Manager, Mike, did a great job of getting all the work done in a day while being sensitive to my wife at home on maternity leave with an infant. Rob talked to me after the sod install was complete to make sure everything was completed to satisfaction and give me sod care and watering instructions. I can say that Lenhoff's Landscaping did a better job that we could have anticipated, and they did a great job of cleaning up afterwards to make it seem like they were never there and we've had a beautiful lawn all along! This was likely a small job for their company, but they certainly made it seem like an important job nonetheless. Thank you!”

“What a wonderful experience to have this company redo my back yard. From the design to the implementation, Earth, Turf & Wood was professional all the way. The existing flagstone patio was redesigned and redone. It had been installed incorrectly and after just 3 years was dangerous because of stones becoming unstable. It also was incorrectly laid and flooded every time it rained. Now it is a charming and safe place to relax. The landscaping is just awesome. My fence was pushed back and plants and trees were chosen of varying heights, flowering times, and colors. The finished yard looks exactly as the 'blueprint' does. The people who worked on my yard were all passionate about what they do, respectful of the house, mindful that their worksite was actually someone's home. They never left for the day without securing the yard so my dogs were safe, cleaning off any dust or dirt from surfaces, and putting their tools and equipment off to the sides. They worked constantly from early morning to late afternoon, stopping only for a brief lunch. No frequent smoke breaks, loud music, phone breaks, etc. Quite different from other people who have worked in my yard. Very nice guys, too, and inspirational as far as work ethics.”

“We contacted Pinehurst Landscaping Company about six months ago because we wanted to renovate previous landscaping that had been done after our home was built. Despite hiring a professional landscaping company, the trees and bushes that they planted were either too large or too small for the area. Instead of accentuating our new home, the landscaping interfered with the architecture of the house resulting in diminished curb appeal. You can imagine that it was with some trepidation when looking for another landscaping company. However, we had read prior positive reviews about Pinehurst Landscaping and decided to give them a try. Once we called we were immediately connected to Ted Carter who specializes in residential design. We explained our issues and what we were looking for. We scheduled a time that Ted would come and assess our landscaping. Ted sat down with us after surveying our plantings and pointed out the errors in the trees and other plantings that were chosen. After careful deliberation, Ted came up with a plan that fit our landscaping area. He chose plants and trees based on color, size, texture, and fragrance. Even if we didn’t care for a particular choice he had a backup suggestion. After we finalized our plan, we met him at the nursery where we were able to pick out our trees and shrubs. However, the true test was the end result. Ted and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in the time frame he had cited. We were thrilled with the end result. We received many compliments from our neighbors and guests and recommended Pinehurst without hesitation. The cost was reasonable and the quality of work was superb. “Brian and Fernando are without a doubt the best of landscaping/hardscaping professionals I could have found to undertake my project and bring it to completion within budget and speedily. The project included removing a leaning wood and timber retaining wall adjacent to an existing parking lot and structure which spanned approximately 80', anchored by a right angle corner and running uphill with a transitioning curve deviating at midpoint about two to three feet. All in all, not an easy fix but accomplished beautifully. In and out, all done in about a week and a half. I can't say enough about the owner, Brian, and his able assistant, Fernando, and the skills they brought to the job to create and complete in such a beautiful fashion. Brian has all my future work (an additional span of about 90' and a staircase) which I know will be done in the same manner. If you have a large or small design and build problem for your property, tight landscape and tighter budget, these fellows are the way to go.”
