“Rob and his crew did an excellent job revitalizing our backyard with new sod after a large tree fell in a recent storm and caused extensive damage in our backyard. Rob met with me personally to review what we wanted and turned around a quick estimate that he was able to work with me on based on our budget. Rob's Project Manager, Mike, did a great job of getting all the work done in a day while being sensitive to my wife at home on maternity leave with an infant. Rob talked to me after the sod install was complete to make sure everything was completed to satisfaction and give me sod care and watering instructions. I can say that Lenhoff's Landscaping did a better job that we could have anticipated, and they did a great job of cleaning up afterwards to make it seem like they were never there and we've had a beautiful lawn all along! This was likely a small job for their company, but they certainly made it seem like an important job nonetheless. Thank you!”

“We hired Woodfield Landscaping to do an outdoor bar and a pizza oven. We have had many bad experiences with contractors over the years so we initially we hesitant to undertake such a big project at the house. Woodfield has renewed our faith that good contractors exist. They worked non stop from start to finish and even on Saturdays. The stone work was flawless and far more beautiful than I could ever hope for. The lightening at night is just remarkable. We received their name from a co-worker who had the exact same experience with a project even bigger than ours. Out if the dozen contractors we have had at the house over the years they are the only ones we would recommend.”

“We have hired Laura for several jobs in our yard, including building a 3-section compost bin with removable slats, an enclosure for our vegetable garden, and a very large fence enclosure for our dogs. The projects were done a few years ago, and there has been no deterioration at all in the materials, even with the rather severe weather we have had. Laura was always punctual, communicated clearly with us, worked very hard for long days, and completed her work without requiring any supervision or additional instruction. “We had a excellent relationship working with Doug and his crew. Fernhill had built a large retaining wall for our yard last year. We were more than pleased with the quality and detail in the work. We then decided to hire Fernhill for a complete redo of both our front and back yards. The project included a small retaining wall in the front, a large flagstone patio and fire pit in the back yard, planting and lighting. Doug's attention to our project and his crew's professionalism were constant from start to finish. They were timely and finished the job within the given time frame. They left each day only after cleaning up and leaving the areas they were working on neat, clean and tidy. We gave Doug the freedom to create a design that would make our yards look great and couldn’t be more pleased with his excellent and unique design. “What a wonderful experience to have this company redo my back yard. From the design to the implementation, Earth, Turf & Wood was professional all the way. The existing flagstone patio was redesigned and redone. It had been installed incorrectly and after just 3 years was dangerous because of stones becoming unstable. It also was incorrectly laid and flooded every time it rained. Now it is a charming and safe place to relax. The landscaping is just awesome. My fence was pushed back and plants and trees were chosen of varying heights, flowering times, and colors. The finished yard looks exactly as the 'blueprint' does. The people who worked on my yard were all passionate about what they do, respectful of the house, mindful that their worksite was actually someone's home. They never left for the day without securing the yard so my dogs were safe, cleaning off any dust or dirt from surfaces, and putting their tools and equipment off to the sides. They worked constantly from early morning to late afternoon, stopping only for a brief lunch. No frequent smoke breaks, loud music, phone breaks, etc. Quite different from other people who have worked in my yard. Very nice guys, too, and inspirational as far as work ethics.”

“We worked with Aaron Raines with Live Green Landscapes to build a 50' long dry stack bluestone wall with evergreen plantings to screen our house from our neighbor's driveway. After receiving multiple bids, Live Green was not the lowest (never go with the low bid) but was middle of the road. They did a phenomenal job with the construction as well as sending updated construction photos as they were completing the work while we were on vacation. The plantings they provided have flourished and we have received numerous compliments on the quality and appearance of the overall product. Aaron has always made himself accessible if we have questions and we would definitely highly recommend Live Green Landscaping to others.”

“I highly recommend Arborvine Landscaping. I have used Arborvine for snow removal, grass cutting and for spring and fall cleanups, including the application of mulch. They have assisted me with planting flowers and with general trimming of shrubbery and trees. Greg Chakar, owner of Arborvine, has always been very accessible for discussing projects. Last summer, we had an outdoor party to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We worked closely with Greg to make sure our lawn and landscaping looked its very best on that weekend. His prices are very reasonable.”
