Laura did hardscape and landscape work on my garden in 2015. I am really pleased with the results. Laura worked with me on my vision and was amenable to minor changes as the work progressed. She is knowledgable, skilled at various needed tasks including carpentry and completed the work in a timely way. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to my friends..

I originally hired Seven Winds when a tree came down and destroyed a flagstone walkway in the spring of 2011. I had seen their handiwork at a neighbor's house and received a flyer a couple weeks later. They removed the entire 20' walkway, saving the existing flagstone, re-graded and set the stones back in/on a foundation of concrete. Their work is meticulous and completed on time, every time. In August 2012 I asked Seven Winds to provide a landscaping plan for my terraced backyard. They listened to my concerns, noted the style and types of plants I favor and executed a plan that met all my requests AND looks terrific. 3.5 years later, the plantings have filled in as predicted and the advice about adding a small oval flagstone patio on one level was exactly what the space needed. I hired them again the following year (?) to build a shed to the custom dimensions of a specific corner of the property and install a large deck directly off the back of my house. I was skeptical about the 18" elevation of the deck but now can't imagine otherwise. Stepping directly from the kitchen to the deck makes the outdoor space feel like walking into another room rather than a patio. They are friendly, completely professional and the work is outstanding - true craftsmanship no matter what the project entails! After you've worked with Seven Winds all other companies will fall short somehow. I truly can't say enough good things about this company. The pictures attached provide a glimpse of the work but don't convey how much enjoyment their work has brought to me (and anyone who visits!).

It is truly a privilege to endorse Seven Winds LLC. In my experience, finding a contractor who not only listens to, but actually hears what a client is asking before making suggestions, is rare. That has been the continuous reality of my relationship with Seven Winds. In addition, the result has outstripped all expectations on each occasion. It seems that no project is too small, nor really too large and the company is often able to act quickly. Laura demolished our deck in response to a plumbing emergency, and rebuilt it and the garden afterwards with far more skill and style than characterized the original. Proposals are prompt, reasonable and extremely creative; the work is done as scheduled and with great efficiency. I cannot recommend this company more highly.

Seven Winds, LLC has worked magic in our disorganized and unruly garden. The principal arrived and in the course of one day, was able to remove, replace and completely change our urban backyard. Seven Winds has continued to maintain our garden for years, filling in new plants as needed and keeping the beauty of the garden intact. Seven Winds also installed a cedar wood fence and has since installed additioanal fences for our nearby neighbors. I would not hesitate to recommend Seven Winds for any outdoor project and they will perform miracles.

Seven Winds completed two projects for me and exceeded my expectations with both. Laura was on time for the estimate and work and took everything into consideration with the budget I had to work with. She has a good eye for design and sizes up the location specs (sun, shade, soil type) to offer creative plant suggestions. Extremely hard worker.

We have hired Laura for several jobs in our yard, including building a 3-section compost bin with removable slats, an enclosure for our vegetable garden, and a very large fence enclosure for our dogs. The projects were done a few years ago, and there has been no deterioration at all in the materials, even with the rather severe weather we have had. Laura was always punctual, communicated clearly with us, worked very hard for long days, and completed her work without requiring any supervision or additional instruction. She is careful to use materials that are environmentally safe. Her work is of the highest quality; even other contractors seeing her work have commented on how well done the projects have been.
