Sam's ideas
I like the idea of the brick for the fireplace being backed onto the bedroom as a feature wall. This is also the kind of brick I like. Recycled or tumbled bricks will give this effect. Brings rustic feel, solidity & texture to interiors.
Skillion roof, high level glazing, steel frame pergola at lower level (could have motorised louvers) elevated deck floating above landscape. I like the use of steel framing and timber contrast and also the colors they have used. I probably prefer the idea of the roof coming out to the edge of the deck still though... the deck railing works well too. katie?
Bowls on top, double basin and bench is cool. Also like the brick. Love the timber bench top. We can do something like this with your tuart slabs.
The timber looks great with the sit on top bowls. Also like the double basin and large bench space
I like the large enclosed shower with double heads. The bath is cool too
Katie thoughts??
Love this wall color for the man cave... would go well with my chesterfield!
Stainless cable railing
Stainless cable railing with timber
I like the reverse cladding and timber and stone elements. The mix makes it interesting
Cool light fittings
I like be cladding coupled with the timber. Makes me think charcoal would be correct choice of color
These windows are great. Minimal steel supports impeding on the view
I can’t believe they got this BAL approved!
Again. The deck rail is cool. I like the two tone finish. Gives it some contrast
I really like this as a deck rail! The two tone sets it off nicely! Would be possible to utilize the Tuart for this.
Waaaay to much redwood but I like the tree perspective
Like the layout but not the style or furniture. Like the extra seating space in parents bedroom whilst still being able to watch tv in bed too!
For in front of man cave/gym? // yeh I like the high ceiling with deck idea under the main house! We may have to dig in some or raise the top level? Not sure we have the slope?
This deck on a larger scale Sam? // what about it? The timber color?
A little too industrial for my liking. Would like a country/industrial style kitchen // really? I liked then brick. Can leave the rest! - We can do a contemporary take on a more traditional country kitchen so less urban looking.
Layout
Layout good. But I'd like to enclose shelves on left.
I like the layout of this but I'd like the style to be more country/industrial. Probably no need for a sink. I'd rather it be more for storage purposes.
Katie? I thought this would be perfect for you!?
Like layout, not colour! - I would never advise using red as an interior colour.
Like enclosed cupboards and drawers. Would prefer less open shelving and window not necessary. Perhaps move draws up to where window is and have closed cabinets above and below? Hopefully more bench space on other side?
bench top
More Timber, less glass
