“We moved into our new build in 2013 with the typical white walls in every room. Four years later we decided to move things on. Understandably we were both a little nervous about the change, so our choice of interior designer was very important to us. We have always sought recommendations and fortunately Middlethorpe Interiors were suggested. After meeting Ann the nervousness was replaced by excitement of what she was creating for us. Don't get me wrong there were times along the way when we felt our "design comfort zone" was being challenged, but we are so glad we trusted in her creativity. It speaks volumes that we have over the last few weeks spent time just sat in the various rooms admiring the finished effect, which is also testament to the high quality of the tradesmen she works with. We would thoroughly recommend”

“Sometimes you just don't know where to start, you know you want to change things up but just never get the time or in my case was seriously lacking some inspiration. Luckily for me the answer to my prayers came in the form of a brilliant business called Making Spaces. I contacted Karen, a lady who wastes no time. A 30 minute chat resulted in a Pinterest board the next day and tester colours on my walls. I didn't have to do a thing. I handed over a set of house keys as my confidence and trust in this lady was well rooted. Before I knew it the walls were painted, rug was being delivered, old furniture was sold on my behalf and new furniture sourced. Curtain poles were hung, artwork was frames and displayed beautifully. I now have a living room that makes me feel cosy and content to spend time in. It's a wonderful, beautiful space that is more me than I could ever have created on my own. This company is completely on the ball. You'd be doing yourself a disservice not to use them.”

“Hannah and Matthew were very professional, they listened to what we were looking for and the colours that we wanted to incorporate into our room. After a colour consultation in our home, where we looked at complementary colours to tie in with the fabric we had chosen for our blinds, cushions and lampshades, Hannah suggested wall colours that were restful and in keeping for a bedroom, whilst working with the south facing aspect. The blinds, cushions and lampshades were all hand made to order with a very surprisingly quick turn around and are of extremely high quality. I would certainly recommend Revival by Design for your project if you are looking for a personal, bespoke service driven experience. DBT York”

“I used Claire for a small lounge project to help me sound out and bring my ideas together. She was a fantastic listener (very important in a designer) and full of energy and intuition. We worked out a colour scheme, and a look and feel for the room that I cannot wait to put into action. “Lee-Ann has been amazing! Originally we commissioned her for the interior design of our brand-new 3-bedroom house, but very quickly we agreed to expand her role to be our overall project manager and client representative with the developer. Very skilled, knowledgeable and capable lady, who has really pushed our developer to deliver to the highest possible standards (spotting things we would have never noticed!). Her design work was fantastic too, taking time to get to know our whole family and coming back with options that reflected our tastes and personality (and budget!) - she was happy to run through many iterations to ensure it was just right, but at the same time gently encouraging us to try new ideas / colours that we wouldn't normally have gone for. The final presentation of mood boards for each room included real samples of all fabrics, wallpapers and wood finishes. She took care of the ordering and installation, and we are delighted with how our new home turned out. Thank you Lee-Anne, we recommend you wholeheartedly...”

“I have been absolutely delighted with the professional and knowledgable service provided by Natalie Davies's Interior Design Company. The interior design project was for my 14 year old daughter's bedroom, which required a complete makeover. Natalie met with my daughter and together they discussed and agreed on the colour scheme as well as the fabric textures, which my daughter was interested in. Following the design consultation, Natalie provided a mood board for my daughter's bedroom, which detailed examples of the colour themes, fabric choices as well as accessories for my daughter to consider. The completed design project has allowed my daughter to have a bedroom, study area and relaxation area within her bedroom, which allows her to both study and relax in a comfortable environment, which she has been actively involved in the design of.”
