From our design studio and boutique showroom in the picturesque market town of Howden in Yorkshire, we help our clients with everything from our signature turn-key interior design (end to end) service, through to a new set of beautifully designed and made curtains or a custom/bespoke sofa. We have used Hannah and Matt for several projects in our home and they have been absolutely brilliant! They are a joy to work with and nothing has been too much trouble. Hannah has helped us step out of our comfort zone and the results have been stunning! We were renovating our new home and wanted some help with both the layout and the look and feel of the property. We had ideas which we had used previously but wanted to introduce some different colours and textures to give the house a homely ‘modern country’ style. Matt and Hannah worked quickly to develop ideas and progress them into something we loved. They were always on hand at any time for support and advice which was fantastic and really appreciated. In summary, we would really recommend Matt and Hannah to anyone. Their attention to detail is exceptional and their focus on putting the customer first is invaluable and not something we have experienced through other suppliers. We always receive lots of comments from friends and family about how lovely the house looks in terms of colours and decoration.

We have used Matt & Hannah for three projects in our period home. We couldn’t be happier in what they have done for us. They are quite honestly both a breath of fresh air in an industry that can often be tricky! They have the ability to communicate clearly, listen intently then come up with wonderful, yet workable ideas and are able to execute them brilliantly! No mean feat…yet they do it with ease and are a dream to deal with. One of their recent transformations resorted me to tears of utter joy! I have and would continue to wholeheartedly recommend them. After relocating from Canada to England with no furniture and no knowledge of finding good quality home decor, I needed help and found Hannah and Matt, owners of Revival Design. Not only did they save me time and money on potential purchasing mistakes, but the transformation of my open-concept kitchen-living room exceeded my expectations. From our first conversation, I could tell these were my people. They are super friendly, good listeners and helped me explore my style ideas. They walked me over the plan and were always mindful of my budget. As a result, I finally feel at home here in the UK. I am incredibly proud to have visitors in my beautiful space. I would highly recommend Hannah and Matt for any interior design needs, from a small project like the cushions they designed for my outdoor sectional sofa to an entire room remodel. Hannah and Matt are one talented team!!!

Hannah and Matt came to our house to measure for blinds in our bedroom and also took two bedside tables, a stand alone mirror and a chest of drawers to be completely transformed with paint -they did a fabulous job - we love the blinds and the furniture and also bought Vintro paint from them for the walls. They also suggested having some cushions made from the left over fabric which look fab! It was great to be able to look at all the colour options alongside the fabric and it came together so well. The whole room is just gorgeous - we're so pleased as it was well overdue for a makeover. We would highly recommend Hannah and Matt for any interior design needs you have and we will definitely use them again for our next project :)

For years I have been collecting whisky, spirits and Belgian beers. The many bottles started to collect dust in my garage and I needed somewhere to show off my extensive collection. When I saw the quality of work and imagination in the designs on display at Revival by Design I knew I had found the right people to build me a full-scale cocktail bar in my home to showcase my collection. I was not disappointed. The design and build quality of my cocktail bar have shown great imagination, ingenuity and flair. I could not be happier with the end result and would recommend Revival by Design to others looking for a quality bespoke project.

I went into Revival by Design to see what paint they had. Not only did they have great paint, I also bought a splendid, small winged armchair covered in recycled leather, and had two lampshades made, all of which turned a utilitarian home office into a very comfortable library/study/snug. I had also seen, photographed and measured a very comfortable, leather winged armchair. Unfortunately it wasn't in great condition, and I wanted a fabric covered one for the sitting room. Revival were able to get a copy made for me that is beautifully crafted, and ridiculously comfortable. I cannot speak too highly of the friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service that I received.

Having had both work completed by Revival by a Design (a beautifully restored side table) as well as assistance with choosing and using chalk paint myself, I have always found that both Hannah and Matthew will go out of their way to help in any way possible. I have had many comments on how beautiful the side table is - the finish is fantastic and the price for completion was extremely reasonable. Fantastic service and always with a smile.

Hannah and Matthew were very professional, they listened to what we were looking for and the colours that we wanted to incorporate into our room. After a colour consultation in our home, where we looked at complementary colours to tie in with the fabric we had chosen for our blinds, cushions and lampshades, Hannah suggested wall colours that were restful and in keeping for a bedroom, whilst working with the south facing aspect. The blinds, cushions and lampshades were all hand made to order with a very surprisingly quick turn around and are of extremely high quality. I would certainly recommend Revival by Design for your project if you are looking for a personal, bespoke service driven experience. DBT York
