“Sarah did an amazing job helping us with our basement renovation. We have a small space with some constraints from the original construction of the house, and Sarah nonetheless managed to create a bright and open space that doesn't feel like a basement at all. She also gave us different options at various price points for furniture, and when we wanted some modifications, she quickly turned those around and met ours needs perfectly. If we ever have another home renovation project, we'd absolutely go back to Sarah for our design needs.”

“We worked with Parkyn Design on our new home build. Soon after our architectural plans were done, we got Tania Parkyn and her team involved in the process. This timing was paramount to them understanding our big vision. Three things stand out from our work with Parkyn Design. First, one of the biggest strengths Tania demonstrated was her ability to really listen and understand what we wanted. She really did hear everything we said: our ideas, our dreams, our likes, our dislikes. We saw proof of this in the end results when our home seemed to fit us like a glove. Second, Tania’s experience ensured that our home would be timeless, yet incredibly unique and personal to us. Because Parkyn Design is current with trends and ahead of the curve on what’s coming, we were introduced to new products and materials which made the choices for everything both practical and leading edge. Finally, as first time homebuilders, the process of building, designing and decorating a home can be very intimidating. Parkyn Design made this process fun and enjoyable. She was amazing at coming up with ideas outside of the box, brought the building into 2020 with respecting its historical charm and was hands on through the process. “Darlene has again brought her expertise and professionalism to our home. When we decided to completely renovate our kitchen and two full bathrooms, Darlene spent many hours putting together different proposals and layouts until just the right ones were found. Our contractor was recommended by Darlene and they worked together to ensure that all work was completed to everyone's satisfaction. The project was kept to budget, other than one unexpected cost and the timelines of the project were good. Darlene kept in touch throughout the project and visited on-site to ensure everything was going smoothly. The kitchen is just what we envisioned and both bathrooms, especially the en-suite bathroom, are perfect. My husband and I are totally happy with all the decisions made and how well Darlene was able to create the look that we wanted.”
