I used the services of Parsons Interiors when I needed to furnish my newly built front deck/porch and a side deck. I wanted high quality Canadian made outdoor furniture that would last throughout the seasons and needed minimal maintenance. From the consulting process to the completion of the project, I was blown away with the knowledge Jackie had with respect to all things related to bringing to reality what was in my mind. She asked loads of questions, showed me the different samples and most importantly pointed out the hidden negative issues with some of the ideas and colours I had in mind initially. She kept me informed at all times with respect to any delays that was inevitable and the project was finished in time for us to enjoy a few months prior to winter setting in! I trusted her completely and I am so glad I did! We love the end result and it's now it's our favorite place to start the mornings (front deck) and de-destress at the end of each day (side deck). Anyone thinking about changing your living space, I highly recommend Jackie at Parsons Interiors for her expertise and extensive experience. It may save you from naking some costly mistakes and ensure you end up your dream space on time and on budget!

Please think twice before doing any business with Parsons Interior. They take no responsibility for their mistakes, they turn around to find ways to blame the customer and they do not give you proper advise. I was told by an expert at Blinds to Go those blackouts are not achievable with draperies, achievable only by blinds, by this time was too late cancel order at Parsons Interior. Jackie knew I was looking total blackouts for my bedroom and what I got from them was nothing close to blackouts. When I contacted Jackie at Parsons, I made her aware of the issue and she responded by saying “The lining is blackout this is what we gave you”! Also, she does NOT provide a detailed quote, which I had to fight to get, I was not willing to go ahead just with a simple total amount for the package without a breakdown on what I was purchasing, at the end she gave me so many quotes that was confusion and mistakes (she would copy and paste) On the final quote she included the lights installation was free and she blamed me for not noticing her error, at the end I paid the electrician! She even blamed me for all quotes revisions she was doing, I told her you keep making mistakes! I had to show her how to make a simple quote. She even mentioned I was the only one since 2005 asking for a detailed quote. She tries in every to blame the customer. Word of advice, be careful on the contractor she recommend, it is too much to write !

We started a major house renovation and discovered that we needed help. Jackie did an amazing job helping us pick everything from colours, tiles, finishes and furnishings. Thank you Jackie for all your help!!!! Our house looks amazing!!

Jackie is a wonderful designer to work with. Very knowledgeable, professional and comes highly recommended. She is honest and works with your budget and has wonderful suggestions. We decided to redo both of our kids' rooms. She helped with picking paint colours, furniture, accessories, lighting, and helped put the vision together. Both rooms turned out fantastic and professional, just the way we envisioned them. We will continue working with Jackie and would highly recommend her to anyone that needs an extraordinary designer!

Last year we decided we finally needed to do some upgrades to our home. We initially were looking to put hardwood floor throughout the house. We reached out to Jackie to take a look at the house and make additional recommendations. As a result we did a total house renovation and it looks amazing. It was very enjoyable working with Jackie for the remodelling my home office. Her colour selection was excellent, and the custom furniture is of extremely high quality. She kept us updated and was actually present for the delivery and supervised to ensure that all items were satisfactory. She also remained until all furniture was set in place and assembled (where required). We have lived in our home for over 30 years and we decided that our 1980's home need to be renovated and updated. The project was a new kitchen, laundry room, and flooring (tile & carpet) throughout our 2500 sqft home. We knew what we wanted, however, it was an overwhelming job. We needed professional help. We met Jackie many years ago through friends and knew about her Interior Design company Parsons Interiors. We immediately called her for a consultation. After our meeting, Jackie gave us the best advice. We needed to first PURGE before we even thought to start our project. So we purged and after a few months, we called Jackie back. She listened to our wants and needs and she had us create our wish list for all the fine details of our kitchen & flooring and overall look for our home. Jackie then designed our kitchen and she brought us to her lighting and tile & carpet suppliers and appliance store. She researched 3 contractors and assisted us in choosing the most suitable contractor for our project. She also helped us with paint colours and ideas and even gave us design and decorator advice during the project just to think about for today or for the future. She also dressed the windows in our home with the most beautiful custom drapery and drapery hardware. Parsons Interiors also took care of the installation with a professional drapery installer. Jackie was with us all the way excited energetic and always a step ahead of the project. She knew exactly what we wanted and was always on point with our style. We downsized from a large house to a small condo in Oakville. We had no idea how we were going to be able to keep some of our favourite pieces. Recently repainted our entire main floor, replaced all trim and baseboards and redecorated the living room and dining room. Jackie owner of Parsons Interiors provided excellent advice and coordinated the colour palette. She advised on what existing furniture should be kept, what could be reupholstered and sourced new furniture at a fair and reasonable price. I very much like the end result. It feels fresh and clean modern but comfortable. Jackie provided excellent advice on accessorizing and on repositioning existing artwork.

When I bought my condo, to say it needed a lot of work would have been an understatement. It wasn't painted, there were no blinds or curtains, it needed some minor construction, there was no furniture whatsoever - I was in way over my head, and the amount of work that needed to be done was overwhelming. As a guy in his late twenties with no experience with this kind of thing, I didn't know where I would even start. I came across Jackie's page online and decided to give her a call on a whim. She answered the phone herself, I told her what I needed and simply asked her if she could help me. We met shortly after at the condo so she could see the space and get to know me, the feel I was looking for, and my budget. Over the coming weeks we developed our game plan: we determined our layout, we chose paints, fabrics, designed the furniture, found our materials for a custom brick accent wall - she was incredible. She was never pushy, knew what I wanted, helped me find everything, hired the contractors, the painters, the blinds guy, everyone! She was there at the condo for deliveries and coordination of the professionals while I was at work and couldn't be there. I would communicate with her, and she would communicate with them. She went as far as getting the mattresses, bed sheets, towels, bath mats - literally everything. When I needed her, she was a text, email, or phone call away. Her personal care and attention to detail were not only helpful, they were integral. She saw my vision, and she saw it through to completion. When there was a problem with the delivery, she took care of it. I couldn't be happier with the way the place turned out. Jackie is a professional with a personal touch, and I could not have done it without her. I would highly recommend her to anyone for anything, no matter how big or small the project is.

I have had the honour and privilege of working with Jackie for the past 5 years in making my house a home. Our first endeavour together was reupholstering my living room and front hall furniture. Jackie walked in and had the uncanny ability to know my taste right away. She never imposed her tastes on me but listened to what I had to say. She guided me through every aspect of the decoration. She fought hard to get me the right area carpets for all the rooms. When it came time to do a huge renovation on our main floor I called Jackie right away. She provided the name of a company for me and arranged all the meetings. My family and I were making a huge transition from our 3000 sq feet traditional home, that we had lived in for 20 years to a new custom built 6000+ sq feet home. We decided to let go of the traditional look and opted for something different. On the search for an interior decorator and designer we came across Parsons Interiors, we called and got into touch with Jackie. We took their advice and we were pleased with the results. My husband and I sought out Parsons Interiors of Oakville when we were getting quotes on finishing our basement. Parsons Interior's team and designers were involved right from the beginning by helping us figure our what we were trying to accomplish, our goal was to have a 21st Century man cave English pub style, but we also needed it to work with my likes as a women and be functional for our young twins. Parson's team came up with sketches, and floor plans and helped us with design layout, and style of furniture. Picking out all of the finishings for the basement renovation was a big part of what we were looking for as well as fabric for cushions, drapes, area rugs as well as wallpaper for the bathroom. Jackie has a real talent for colour matching and I was amazed at what she was able to put together for us. With the floor plans, we were able to determine the proper size furniture for the room and order all the furniture so that it was ready by the time the basement was finished. Jackie tracked projects, kept on top of several suppliers and provided us with updates regularly.
