TCC helped us with the design, construction, and installation of a built-in bookcase with integrated lighting. Service and communication were on point; delivery and installation were executed on time and with care and attention to detail.

I have used Toronto Custom Concepts for several projects, large and small. And since I first used them I've also used other contractors ... and each time I reflect back and wish I had gone with these guys. The entire team is great, very detailed, they follow-up, communicate well, super professional. They have done full kitchen renos for me, bathroom renos, laundry rooms, powder rooms, foyers along with smaller maintenance type work. Overall A+, would highly recommend them.

I undertook an unexpected entire house renovation. Toronto Custom Concepts were recommended by an electrician and every single individual and every single interaction with them was world class. From Dave in the office all the way to Vince on-site and Mike and Luke, everyone was approachable, clear, transparent, accurate, and honest. Starting from the conceptual stage right on through to completion and questions after completion, Toronto Custom Concepts was astounding. It was our pleasure working with Dave and his whole team at TCC. This was our first major home renovation project and they guided us through the process. We decided on TCC to complete a full basement renovation for us. Our home is about 50 years old , so naturally we encountered a few surprises behind the walls. Our initial project was our ensuite bathroom and closet, but I loved Dave’s ideas so much, we added on three guest rooms, guest bathroom, and flooring, doors and windows all throughout the areas. Originally our engagement started as a small built in off our kitchen but it turned into a larger project including having half of our windows replaced after we learned how capable Dave and his team were. Every professional we dealt with did great work and was very respectful of being in our home while my husband and I were sharing the space for remote work. Beautiful work - especially the very tricky antique mirror wall! We'll absolutely use Toronto Custom Concepts again.

It was obvious from our initial meeting with TCC that their attention to detail and the clients wishes would be top notch. After reading a number of online reviews I called and talked to the owner about out project. I explained that I was also in construction but that my schedule prevented me from getting our bathroom reno completed in a minimal amount of time. TCC was very understanding and agreed to take on the project. We met with the recommended supplier and chose our tile, vanity, toilet and other accessories. Due to Covid-19 some of our materials were held up but once a majority of them were released TCC was on the job. I had done the demo work ahead of time which allowed TCC to get right into putting things back. It also gave me a chance to review the houses base construction for future reno ideas. With in the scheduled time the room was framed (it was not square or plumb to start and this was corrected), Mechanical and Electrical rough-ins completed, drywall installed and then the room was ready for tile. I want to single out the tile work on this project. The craftsman who installed the tile was exceptional. The work was flawless and we were extremely happy with the end result. If there had to be only one reason to hire TCC it would be for this work. Exceptional. Of course the other work was of equal caliber and I have other projects under consideration that I will be presenting to TCC in the future.

We called TCC to inspect our attic for any trace of asbestos in the existing vermiculite. The professional from TCC was very respectful and very good at letting us know what he was looking for and what he found. His initial assessment based on his experience was that we should be okay.. As we head towards retirement years we made the decision to renovate our 1100 square foot, 1950's Etobicoke bungalow rather than move to a condo. Our home of 24 years had small enclosed rooms on the main floor, including a tiny, inefficient kitchen and a small dining room which could not accommodate our adult children, partners and grandchild. The main floor also included three bedrooms and a bathroom. Our vision was for walls to come down to create to an open concept design to include our primary rooms plus the kitchen of our dreams. We have never experienced renovations to this degree before and did not have any idea where to start. Naively, we went to IKEA and quickly realized that the scope of the job was far beyond a kitchen plan, and that we wanted quality products to ensure that the work endured. After reviewing numerous reviews from various sources, and calling several companies we choose three companies for quotes; a kitchen design company, an independent contractor and Toronto Custom Concepts (TCC). TCC engaged us in a manner which gave us the confidence that this was the company that would best meet our needs. After our initial phone call, Dave Jurinic, TCC's Director and Designer, Brittany Oakley came to the house to take measurements and to hear about our wish list. We were invited to the Interior Design Show to see their designs and products, then to TCC showroom to further discussions. Initially we had no idea about costs or all that our wish list entailed. Dave was patient as our own understanding of costs and the work requirements grew through our discussions with him. To help us with design and budget decisions, Dave provided us with quotes based on a few design plan options which helped significantly with decisions based on our budget and priorities. Brittany nailed our vision of our dream kitchen within her first design. It was most helpful that TCC quotes are all inclusive from permits at the beginning to air duct and home cleaning crew at the end; with the promise of top workmanship at each juncture. The renovation was extensive and included the creation of an open concept kitchen, living room and dining room, replacement of flooring throughout the main level, replacement of bathroom fixtures and an expansion of bedroom closets. We had originally thought we would do the renovations in two stages, a few years apart. We came to the conclusion that it was in our best interest from both a financial and least disruptive perspective to do it all at once. The job started and ended on time and on budget. Communication was ongoing throughout and each of the individual trades brought in by TCC did excellent work. Scott was our on site project manager and Graham worked behind the scenes ordering products, coordinating delivery and appliance installation etc. The TCC team is small, professional, accessible and proficient and contract with premium tradesmen. Remarkably, there were no surprises or setbacks. We are big supporters of reviews and use them as a tool for many of our decisions. Typically we wait a while before writing reviews to ensure the whole experience is captured. We moved back into our space six months ago and during that time we have required minimal follow up due to seasonal shifting of the house etc. The TCC team has been responsive and quick to arrange for all follow up as required. We have experienced their commitment to stand behind their work and we are confident that we will be able to call them in the future with any concerns. Choosing the right contractor is the most significant part of a renovation. We could not say enough about how positive our experience was with TCC and would not hesitate to recommend them. We knew going into this project that renovations are not easy to live through and we can honestly say that apart from the dust and disruption, the process was surprisingly smooth and headache free. Dave's team renovated our guest room which had a horribly loud floor. Anyone walking on it would wake up the household. A previous contractor tried to fix it with screws which made no change. Toronto Custom Concepts completely removed the floor boards and fixed it professionally. Finally we can happily host guests without being woken up.

We had a basement reno, a bedroom consolidation, and a new laundry room put in. The project was started exactly as advised, and finished exactly (to the week) estimated. In between, from meticulous prep, to work habits of each sub-trade, to the final clean-up, the project was managed perfectly, with no disruption to the family. Reliability factor for TCC was 100%. Our project manager, Scott, was helpful in solving some unforseen issues, efficiently helped us through choices, and took care of everything with a sense of urgency. Our price quote/scope description was detailed enough to use throughout, to monitor the project. To the extent we had change orders, they were reasonably-priced, and all of the accounting was clear. It may have helped that we were not picky clients on selection issues within the pricing allowances, however I can't think of any aspect that had much room for improvement - a great 5-star effort.

This is the second project we had done by Toronto Custom Concepts. The first time we had a built in China cabinet with crown moulding which we were very pleased with. This time we had the removal of our popcorn ceiling, and had led pot lights and french doors installed. The removal of the popcorn ceiling and the painting of the ceilings and walls were done excellently. All work was done professionally and on time. The workers on this project were very professional and we were very pleased and we highly recommend them.

I hired TCC for my first renovation, the gutting of an older Toronto condo. The crew was sensitive to this being my first foray into renovations. I learned a lot from them. We just completed our master bathroom renovation and are thrilled with the final result. Our interior designer had worked with Toronto Custom Concepts several times and highly recommended Dave and his team. He had great ideas about how we could maximize the space based on our wish for a larger shower. Our project had unforeseen complications due to the presence of dangerous mold. Dave quickly brought in an abatement company to safely remove the dangerous spores. Each trade that came to our home was professional and friendly. We felt comfortable having them come and go even when we were not home ourselves. Toronto Custom Concepts protected our carpets and hardwood flooring from the front door all the way upstairs into the bedroom area and kept the project space tidy and as clean as possible. We are thrilled with the final result and look forward to enjoying our master bathroom for many years to come.

Toronto custom concepts did a complete tear down and rebuild of our basement master bath. The job came up against a number of obstacles and they were always helpful in finding suitable fixes and or workarounds that did not impact the final product. Dave is professional, helpful and friendly and does what he has to do to get the job done.

I highly endorse Toronto Custom Concepts. Dave asked pertinent questions about the condo rules and our needs. Dave and Mike were very easy to work with. We didn't like the placement of the dishwasher in the initial design. They listened to us and agreed to move it elsewhere. Dave's exceptional team are very skilled, courteous and professional. New cabinets, floor, sink, countertop, oven and backsplash were expertly installed. The kitchen has been transformed into a workable and beautiful space.

Removal of two walls to open one end of the kitchen. This involved some structure work on two floors and the addition of a new kitchen counter peninsula. Working with Toronto Custom Concepts (Dave Jurinic and team) was a good experience. I was always informed/consulted on about schedules/next steps/materials/who was coming to do the work. I am sure most projects end up being a big larger than expected, but the team worked with us to make sure that we understood the value of changes. The renovation looks fantastic. We were nervous to rip apart our entire master bathroom and have a bunch of contractors going through our house but it worked out amazingly well. Toronto Custom Concepts, especially Dave, Mike and Dennis, were very professional. Their constant updates on the status of the different stages of the project really made us feel at ease. The tile work and the custom design work was the best we have ever seen. They helped us select the vanity and suggested light fixtures and made small changes to our shower layout that make the shower look a lot larger. They took care of all the little details that other contractors have totally ignored with us. Amazing and we'd use them again.

Dave undertook a diverse renovation of our new home which was damaged by the flooding in Burlington, during the summer of 2014. Although his work was not to repair flood damage, his professionalism and his eye for detail were calming during a very tumultuous period. The quality of the work was outstanding and if something unexpected was discovered, Dave always took the time to explain everything fully to us and provide us with options and an honest opinion. Upon seeing the finished product I actually became jealous of my wife's new closets. Thanks Dave for putting those special touches on our first home!

Dave and his crew did a great job on our kitchen. It included new cabinetry, new countertops, installing new sink and appliances, refinishing the existing wood floor, minor structural work, backsplash installation and new lighting (under cabinet, pots and hanging). During the project work, Dave was easy to reach and always responded promptly to messages. he was also very clear in explaining cost implications for any changes to the plan we considered throughout the project. You will be very pleased with this company's work! As you will see in one of the photos, we have a large, friendly dog. Everyone was nice to him during the work and we had no problems at all with leaving him at home (except for the demolition and floor finishing phases).

It’s our pleasure to say that service provided by Dave is beyond excellence! My vision is to create an ensuite in my basement for which the style and design has to match seamlessly with the rest of my house. Dave has spent tremendous effort in ensuring that aspects of the job are done perfectly. One of the many examples is that he has brought in different wood samples to identify the most compatible option to merge with the overall design of the house. Moreover, he has done lots of research to eventually find us the hardware that cannot be offered in the local market. Although Dave’s pricing is not the cheapest, we believe he is one of the best the contractors in the market. As far as our honest opinion goes, Dave is very professional and open minded. Our project included complete gutting and rebuild on 3 bathrooms and partial work on a fourth bathroom. This was a large project. Dave was great to deal with. He is very professionalresponsive in detailing the project and timelines so we clearly understood what work and supplies will be delivered. Asks excellent questions and is very engaged and involved. Makes great suggestions and cares about how the final product will look. The work itself is of the highest quality I've experienced- very meticulous, straight edges, tight and detail oriented. The materials he uses is also of high quality. He works neatly, uses construction pads and taped-down cardboard in hallways, bathrooms and stairs to protect the floors. He also erects barrier shields to control dust. I totally trust Dave. I would not hesitate to call him again for another job- he is the best, no question.

Dave's company was suggested by our designer for our complete condo kitchen redesign and we were very happy with the process, from finalizing the design, choosing finishes, ripping out the old kitchen and floor and all the installations. Toronto Custom Concepts extended our built-in cabinetry, and created a perfect, fluid match to an existing structure that they did not originate. My basement experienced some water damage. TCC promptly came the next day, evaluated the damage, and began the demolition the day after. The work was performed efficiently and cleanly. As an aside, while TCC was evaluating the damage, they detected a dangerous gas leak in my furnace room, potentially saving my family from serious harm. I hired Toronto Custm Concepts to do some minor renovation work (removing part of a wall, wideing an opening between 2 rooms and removing an oversized brick hearth and wood stove) on an older home that we recently purchased. After doing a great job on interior painting, we rehired Toronto Custom Concepts to do a complete basement reno. They did a fantastic job, providing top quality work, excellent relationship management and communication, as well as advice/consulting on colours, finishes and product selection. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. A few notes about this company: a) They won't be your low-cost bidder...they are about quality and their charges are justified. b) It takes a while to get the job started...this is a good thing as any quality contractor is booked well in advance and I'd be wary of anyone who can start next week. Once the job starts, it's like clockwork and they meet their estimated timeframes. c) The support you'll receive from Dave Jurinic is exceptional. Call or email and you'll hear from him same day, often at about 8:30pm on his way home. He is a constant presence on the job site to ensure quality is measuring up...his contractors respect him deeply and they'll tell you so. What we particularly appreciate with Dave is that he will make design choices for you if you ask him...we aren't good with colours, layout, fishing choices so we let him use his judgment and the results were great.

In somewhat of a rush to convert a bathroom to be accessible for my 95 year old mother who had recently broken her hip, Dave Jurinic of Toronto Custom Concepts stepped up and hit one out of the ballpark. Dave worked with me to design an build as close to a barrier free bathroom as could be done in a 90 year old house and still have a wonderful high-end sophisticated look. Since we were in a rush and doing a full gut and rebuild, Dave did much of the footwork to source fixtures showing an excellent design sense making it easy for me to do final selections from his recommendations, Dave and all his trades were polite, cooperative and easy to work with. and attention to detail was exemplary, Designer Cori Halpern worked with Dave and I to choose the shower trim and paint colour for the walls and trim that put the final touch on a wonderful bathroom renovation I am happy recommend Toronto Custom Design and look forward to working with Dave and Cori again.

I needed to have a built in bookcase modified to accommodate a new TV. I called several Toronto based companies and no one would touch it if they had not done the original installation. Dave from Toronto Custom Concepts saved us. He researched numerous suppliers to come up with a perfect match for the wood grain material. His team dismantled the existing unit, inserted the new shelving, support pieces and finishing trim. The end result is a beautiful unit and I would defy anyone to notice that the unit had been touched and rebuilt. They did a great job of cleaning up as well. I hired TCC to do a laundry room makeover and custom closets. The makeover included upgrades in granite, sinks, faucets and custom cabinetry. The final result was beautiful! I contacted Dave after seeing the superb job he did customizing my brother's walk-in closets.
