“We purchased a new home from Hellings and have used Hellings to finish the lower level as well as other projects. Ross, Barry and his whole team are very focused on client satisfaction. There are always issues to deal with in large projects and our experience continues to be that Hellings is focused on getting things done the right way. Since buying our home and adding to the original house, we've used Hellings to put in a whole house generator, to install estate fencing and will certainly have them provide a bid on a pool and patio project that we also have on our list. “Steve Tatios from tatcor.com is first of all a gentleman who spent hours discussing my project before I even hired him. His ideas and dedication to detail was what I was looking for. In addition, I needed someone to design, draw and then take the project to completion. The work was outstanding in quality and detail. Anything we wanted to change or tweak, he was more than willing to do. The final project gets the "oohs and aahs" from friends one would hope for and our new basement is now the most fun and inviting part of the house. Multiple parts of the project were somewhat "out of the box" and Steve took to researching and handling the project. I highly recommend Tatcor.com. It is like a gourmet meal. It takes a few extra days but it is perfect when done.”

“Reese and his team recently completed our row home kitchen renovation in South Philadelphia. Their quality of work was excellent and their prices very reasonable. “Pete and his team did a complete refinishing of our basement. It was done in two stages: the first included designing the empty space to make it most functional for us. We needed apartment type living as our daughter and two granddaughters are living with us. We wanted as much light as possible which he accomplished with the installation of extra windows and great lighting. In addition to a living area, we needed a desk area, a bedroom and bath and plenty of usable storage. He covered existing support posts and added closets. The second stage was begun after three years when we decided a kitchen was also needed so Pete again used his design expertise by converting the desk area into a wonderful kitchen which includes plenty of cabinet and counter top space, a refrigerator, sink, dishwasher and stove along with the addition of a beautiful, functional breakfast bar. Pete and his carpenters, plumbers and others were always respectful, on time and kept us abreast of what was happening on a daily basis. There were no unexpected delays. We could not have asked for a better outcome.”

“Nick and his Dad are the best. They redid our two baths and kitchen. The upstairs bath was a complete tear down. The kitchen/family room was transformed from a 1960's kitchen to granite, stainless, windows, doors, walls, pantries, utility room, etc. They were professional, insightful, knowledgeable and finished our job in a timely fashion. We were living in another state and travelling back and forth and never had a delay or worry. We were in our house by May. He recommended other professionals for painting, insulation, etc. and they also were great to work with. His tile guys were the best. Can only say nice things about this contractor and would highly recommend them for any small or large job.”

“My husband and I hired John to completely rebuild an old stone house. We chose him over two other builders not because he was the cheapest, but because the quality and workmanship he displayed were just what we were looking for. John oversaw the entire job, from demo to the finished trim, inside and out. The job entailed tearing the roof and second story, adding a sun room, and then completely rebuilding the house. It included a new second story, all new plumbing and electrical, new kitchen, new bathroom, everything. We wanted to rebuild the house even better than it had been, and that's what we did. We were extremely pleased with John's work and that of the sub-contractors with which he worked. John was on the site every day either overseeing the work, or doing it himself. He was always professional, enthusiastic, and up front about the costs and time the job would take. He gave us great ideas about finishing trim and even milled it himself. Our house is beautiful and well built. If we had to do it over again, we would hire John.”
