“I have hired A&E Construction for both large and small projects multiple times over the past 8 years and without any hesitation, give them the highest recommendation possible. The owner of the company, Greg Fontaine, is experienced, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Projects were always done on time and on budget and if for some reason, the schedule needs to change, Greg does an excellent job communicating the reasons. Before working with A&E, we hired many contractors over the years, and no one ever compared in terms of quality of work combined with reliability and trustworthiness. Another thing we've really appreciated about working with Greg is his ability to provide us with options and ideas if we needed to scale back on a project. Two of the larger projects Greg did for us were finishing our basement and building a poolhouse. Greg was very cognizant that we did not have an unlimited budget and worked with us to make sure we got the most for our money. Greg also does an excellent job hiring talented and reliable people that I am always comfortable having in my home. Additionally, they are very neat and always clean up after themselves at the end of each day. Lastly, and most importantly, Greg really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond what's expected to make sure they are 100% satisfied. I can't say enough good things about him and A&E!! There are always issues to deal with in large projects and our experience continues to be that Hellings is focused on getting things done the right way. Since buying our home and adding to the original house, we've used Hellings to put in a whole house generator, to install estate fencing and will certainly have them provide a bid on a pool and patio project that we also have on our list. Hellings is not trying to be the low cost option, but they take pride in doing each project the right way.”
