“We had Brendan renovate a 3rd floor bathroom and we are truly thrilled with the results. We really enjoyed working with him, as well as the contractors he brought in for electrical, plumbing, tiling, etc. Part of the project involved installing a mini-split air system, which he worked into the project very well. Whenever we brought some crazy ideas to him, he worked with us to come up with practical solutions and turned a pretty out-dated and poorly designed space into something that we really love. I have included some before and after photos below.”

“I have hired A&E Construction for both large and small projects multiple times over the past 8 years and without any hesitation, give them the highest recommendation possible. The owner of the company, Greg Fontaine, is experienced, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Projects were always done on time and on budget and if for some reason, the schedule needs to change, Greg does an excellent job communicating the reasons. Before working with A&E, we hired many contractors over the years, and no one ever compared in terms of quality of work combined with reliability and trustworthiness. Another thing we've really appreciated about working with Greg is his ability to provide us with options and ideas if we needed to scale back on a project. Two of the larger projects Greg did for us were finishing our basement and building a poolhouse. Greg was very cognizant that we did not have an unlimited budget and worked with us to make sure we got the most for our money. Greg also does an excellent job hiring talented and reliable people that I am always comfortable having in my home. Additionally, they are very neat and always clean up after themselves at the end of each day. Lastly, and most importantly, Greg really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond what's expected to make sure they are 100% satisfied. I can't say enough good things about him and A&E!! If you hire them, you won't be disappointed.”

I hired them to put an major addition on our home and it came in on budget, it turned out absolutely beautiful and they were great to work with. “Brian is great to work with because he has great ideas and is an excellent crafts person. He keeps the client informed about the time frame for a project and does a good job co-ordinating subcontractors. He has drywalled and tiled a basement bathroom for me, completely rebuilt my front porch using mahogany decking and last fall gutted my upstairs bathroom, removed the tub, installed a marble shower, installed two custom walnut cabinets and added an attic fan and an exhaust fan. The job was not cheap, however the quality is top shelf and I have no regrets. Also he is very pleasant and his team is skilled and polite.”
