“Alethea is amazing! She was an integral part of the team when we remodeled our entire basement, renovated our kitchen and added a large porch in the front of our home. She was the key person to help select all of the interior selections and after the work was completed, assisted in the interior furnishings as well. We did a second project with her as well. We added a laundry room that is the envy of my neighborhood. She designed and drew up all of the plans and worked well with all of the subs. Many friends have seen her work in my home and have hired her as well- both to help in structural changes as well as interior work. They all have been happy. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is true to her word, very organized and keeps you informed throughout the project. These are rare qualities. I am happy to talk with anyone who has any questions. Thanks!”

“Our project, which took approximately 3 1/2 months from start to completion, included both a kitchen and basement remodel. Anchor Builders recommended that we use Fluidesign for our design work. Fluidesign did the layout and consulted with us on all phases of the project. They were available and helpful at every phase of construction. In addition to producing an excellent floor plan, they assisted with major and minor decisions including selection of appliances, cabinets, lighting fixtures, carpeting, paint colors, etc. All the options available would have been very overwhelming without their help. “I hired Hart's Design to design an addition to my home in Edina. This included a garage, workshop, master bath, roof deck, laundry/mudroom expansion. sunroom, and kitchen expansion. Admittedly, I am a very particular/difficult client. Generally, I am not satisfied with anyone I hire and usually consider it successful if the interaction does not end in the exchange of profanity. I know this about myself and tell people this prior to working with them. I have never offered to serve as a reference for any contractor or designer in the past. Robert was excellent. He took our ideas, added his expertise and brought it to life. He was responsive and timely and the rates were very reasonable. He delivered exactly what he said he would. I particularly liked that I could work with him to create a design/blueprints that we liked. I was then able to take these detailed plans and get bids from a number of contractors rather than being tied to a single design/build firm. This was some of the best money we spent on our addition. I would recommend Hart's Design without reservation.”

“We hired CONSTUCT Design twice for two distinct remodels on our 1903 house. Adrienne’s vision to transform our historic home with modern flow and refined touches was born from her ability to listen and understand how we lived in our space. She gave us choices that fit our budget and was a steady hand throughout the entire demo/buildout and through to the final finishes. She advocated for us in any questions with the contractor and made the transition seamless. House remodeling is an inherently stressful enterprise, but Adrienne was a rock and a reassuring presence throughout the whole process. I highly recommend CONSTRUCT Design if your considering a home remodel and aren’t in the mood for a cookie cutter design and no architect interaction after the blueprint ink is dry. Adrienne is the antithesis of that business model.”

“We hired Andre' to design and do all the architectural work for our new home in Excelsior, MN. After meeting with numerous architects and builders, we decided that Andre' and Kurt Schwartz (Builder) were the best fit for us. After several meetings to discuss our vision we filled out an in depth Master Vision questionnaire and provided Andre' and Kurt our login to houzz.com so they could see what we liked about certain houses, rooms, colors, textures and finishes. When you combine the Master Vision questionnaire along with our houzz.com pictures, you get a pretty good feel for what we wanted in our new home. We think Andre' did an exceptional job of listening to what we wanted and going through all of the information we provided to create a remarkable home that we love! Between Andre' and Kurt Schwartz Builders they really did a great job of taking our vision and making it a reality. We would strongly recommend both Andre' and Kurt to anyone looking to remodel or build their dream home!”

“Jeff did the design on our condo in downtown Minneapolis as well as the remodel of our Naples, FL condo. He did the overall design as well as overseeing the work. Both were very tasteful and exactly what we were looking for, it could not have been better. The Minneapolis condo (Rock Island Lofts) was designed and built out in about summer of 2004, and the Naples condo in summer of 2011.”
