“David Biek from Arcadea has worked on two projects for us. The first project was restoring a beautiful multi million dollar 4 story grey stone in Chicago. The building was a classic old building in disrepair. David's design work brought the building infastructure into the 21st. century yet he maintained the old world charm. Thanks to the remodel, the building is renting for top dollar. The second project David did for us was some remodleing at our home in Boulder. After the 2013 floods, we had some serious repairs to make on our bottom floor. With her help, the review board approved the code allowance request unanimously. Our project involves bumping the attached garage eight feet to allow for a utility room between the garage and house. The design includes moving the washer and dryer out of the basement. As simple as the project sounds, there is a lot involved. Ellen listened to my wife’s concerns and ideas on the project. Hampton Architecture took care of all the details to get us an approved building permit with Gunnison County (one of the more stringent building code requirement Counties in the State of Colorado). During the build, Ethan was available for the very few time necessary to clarify plan details – there were 4 total clarifications needed. In the end, we finish with a cabin of our dreams, built within the schedule and budget that we could afford.
