Founded by Shaun Minné LEED AP, DesignHouse specializes in creating innovative solutions for the built environment. For the past twenty-five years, Designhouse has been partnering with clients to define their goals and realize their dreams, always mindful of budgets and time constraints. Its holistic approach, blending both architecture and interiors into a seamless whole, spans residential, commercial, retail, and restaurant design. Experienced with various styles, DesignHouse pivots on an inherently modern aesthetic. This includes the use of natural materials, a strong indoor/outdoor connection, and curated, pared-down color and finish palettes. Smart technology and passive solar design, and earth friendly materials contribute to the idea of sustainable solutions. True sustainability takes more than recycled materials and renewable energy, however. Buildings must be designed to support and enhance their owner’s vision, work/lifestyle and surroundings in order to stand the test of time. Most importantly, it must surprise, delight and bring joy to its users.

I have hired Shaun for multiple projects and she has always been both professional, personable and performed excellent work. She has a true eye for elegance, but also has a practical side and understands the need to balance the clients goals and budget with her own sense of creating a final result that is both beautiful and functional. I have been nothing but pleased with her work.

It was a pleasure to work with Shaun Minné on two recent projects. She listened to our ideas, added her own touch and the combined result was amazing. Her designs transformed our nondescript loft into a comfortable office/study and our master bath into a spa-like retreat. I love how she connected a contemporary look to our craftsman-style home. She is organized, detail-oriented, and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Shaun for any project (and already have to several friends)!

We found Shaun Minne' to be innovative and organized, and worked in a efficient and timely manner. She carefully listened to our needs and designed an add on to our home in Florida under difficult space restraints. We were well pleased.

Shaun is the consumate professional designer! She used her extensive experience and talent to design a project that was consistent in vision and materials throughout our house, staying true to her belief that function is always first in the design. As a result, we turned a 1960s disjointed ranch with two separate additions into a stunning open house marrying the Colorado front range to a Tuscanesque working farmhouse using the elements of wood, stone, and metal to create a unified space. Shaun is amazing at what she does. You will not be disappointed should you engage her service.

Shaun designed and supervised major renovations to my kitchen, living room, bathroom and sunroom. I have a 30 year old, small ranch on a lovely, large lot, and the disign touches that Shaun brought were stunning. It doesn't feel like a small house anymore, and it is very pleasing and welcoming to the eye. A wonderful improvement to my lifestyle. Shaun also designed and oversaw a complete tenant refinish for my law office in a 30 year old office building, with a challenging "L" shaped space layout. The result is very sharp and contemporary, and the details that Shaun made resulted in a major upgrade to our practice. The space no longer feels rectangular. Our clients, and other attorneys, always comment on the design and finish. The offices are also very functional.

Shaun did a great job helping us to reimagine our kitchen. The end result was well beyond our expectations. She also showed us how to stage our home for sale, which proved successful. The house was snatched off the market at full asking price in days! I still miss my kitchen, but I might ask her to help us in our new home, too.
