“I was referred to Sounddesign Group by a friend and selected them after interviewing 3 architects. After the initial referral, I was attracted to SDG because of the variety of home design styles shown on their website. I didn't want my project to be pigeonholed as a "type". I wanted my design professional to be open-minded and easy to work with, and I definitely found that in Eric Terry. He is one of the most easy-going people I have ever worked with, but at the same time he gets things done. The process was simple and fun, and we got everything we wanted even though some of it required both Eric and our builder to think outside the box. It turned out to be a bit of a complicated project, but you never would have known it from Eric's attitude. His firm took everything in stride. We also utilized Sounddesign's interior design specialist, Kirsten, for some interior help. She was similarly delightful and easy to work with, even within my budget constraints and my desire to do most things on my own. The finished project is beautiful, and we had a great time during the design and build process. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough.”

“I hired Ananda to provide detailed floor plans for a new liquor store that was relocated to the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. It was a tricky project as the floor plans had to satisfy all of the requirements from the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch as well as the local Municipality before the license could be transferred and any construction could begin. After only one meeting Ananda incorporated the requirements for the layout of the space into a floor plan that was very effective. There were a few changes to the layout afterwards based on purchasing changes, for shelving and equipment, which she incorporated into the plans with a very fast turn around time. I would hire Ananda and her company again as they successfully nailed down the requirements, listened, and worked quickly and efficiently with feedback and produced a great product.”

“Peter Schionning of SOS Design was retained by us to provide plans for a partial basement renovation complete with a new bathroom[shower/bath,toilet,vanity and linen storage] as well as a laundry facility and storage space. . From start to finish, and in spite of this being a small project,Peter was very helpful in presenting a range of options for utilizing the basement space as efficiently and cost consciously as possible. There were height and plumbing issues which had significant cost implications ,but with Peters long experience, we got the necessary approvals As well, from previous projects in the house,Peter referred us to various trades who provided first class service and even surprised our contractor who ended up using them. From a design perspective ,Peter helped guide us through a myriad of choices from tiles to toilets, from high end to less expensive and explained the relative advantages of each. We would certainly recommend him to anyone.”

“My wife and I are fortunate to own a great piece of property with open spaces and views from DIA to the Tech Center. When we began the design process, we met with many architects. Of all of the architects that we met with to consider a design for our house, Lisa was the only one focused on what we, the customer, wanted. Every other architect wanted to use our property as a showcase for their design. Lisa was able to show us other beautiful projects she had completed. However, we really appreciated her inquiry into our hopes, dreams, and wishes for this house. Very quickly, we knew that Touch Architecture was going to design our dream home based on what we, the customer, wanted. It is not often when working with people in the private sector to come across a company with such devotion to the needs of it’s clients. The work Touch Architecture did for our new home was grounded in an unbridled passion for creating the dream home for the client. Lisa’s selfless approach to our project demonstrated the high level of passion for customers, integrity, and professionalism that Touch Architecture supports. As a matter of fact, if I knew of someone who was considering any other architect, I would suggest they abandon that company and replace it with Touch Architecture.
