My Own New House
This is our massively large kitchen. Cabinets are natural maple, countertop is black "uba-tuba." The white area on the end is intentional, to tie into the adjoining dining room wainscoting. When bar stools are in there, it's not quite so noticable. We added a surrounding bar-height step-up around the sink, just to hide any clutter that might collect there, and to serve as a serving station to the adjacent dining room space.
