Also, the (4) animal skin wing-backed chairs square measure superbly adorned with nail-heads that are carried throughout the design. This bachelor retreat features a stunning pendant and hand-tufted ottoman table. This house is warm and welcoming and perfect for intimate conversations amongst family and friends for years to come. Please take note - when using cornices, one should decide what proportion return is required. Return is the distance your material hangs away from the wall. Yes, this additionally affects the proportion. Usually, return is 3½ inches. However, larger or taller windows might need a deeper return to avoid the fabric from getting squashed against the wall. This simple but elegant update has provided cabinetry for concealed storage and open shelving where the owner proudly displays their favorite novels, travel mementos, and family heirlooms, adding a touch of personal narrative to the space.

singingmala1Using various online photos and DIY descriptions, I laid these out and, with the help of two friends, built them. Woman Power! I think my total expense was about $400. I had pipe sections cut at the store and used pine stepping (nice and thick and has the bullnose) that I bought from my local hardware store (under $200). I degreased the pipe (did not paint it) and used a prestain (essential for pine) and stain on the wood, followed by linseed oil. I love the shelves!

J Hill InteriorsWe are very proud of this project, as it was a full-home, very involved renovation process and included full-service decorating for the entire home. The house was originally had a mountain lodge feel. We stripped that look and brought in a classic American welcoming vibe for the main living areas, and more or a sleek, contemporary look for the master suite. All bathrooms had their own new appeal, representing the taste of each family member.
