Pls help with floor plan design
(0) comentariosGm everybody, My wife and me are trying to design our new kitchen, and we are a bit concern about its location in the house. This is a DIY project, so we are looking for opinions. As you can see in the picture, we are creating the kitchen room at the left bottom side and keeping a garden at the left upper. Our first idea was to locate the kitchen close to the living door (upper in the picture) but we would like to mantain the garden. Thanks in advance for any kind of help!! (0) comentariosNEW PROJECT: Built in the 90's this post-modern house was conceived in the spirit of its time. Its top floor had a classical Greek-inspired coronation which seemed witty and clever at the time, but it gave the house a very dated look. Even worse, its shape and volume, blocked the amazing sea views of the mediterranean from the house. Rardo architects proposed to demolish this old volume and to create a new floor on top. Taking elements from the existing metallic structure at the ground floor we proposed a light roof with a glass perimeter. The concept was to create a total open plan space, so its owners could enjoy from this new elevated study-living space to retrieve and enjoy the views with friends and family, and relax. Enjoy! #sitges #design #architecture #barcelona #castelldefels #rardoarchitects...Ver másFamily House in La Plana, Sitges - Barcelona
(0) comentariosRardo-Architects has been commissioned to create a contemporary design villa that, at the request of the client, had the maximum occupancy allowed by the planning requirements. The new volume is configured using a series of mid-levels that gently emerge from the ground as a solid, opaque ensemble that becomes more transparent as it rises above ground level. These bodies are oriented creating panoramic views of the sea and the neighborhood, with large concrete overhangs that offer shelter and protect the interior from excess sunlight, allowing lighting but not heat to enter. The residential areas of the house are distributed over two floors, with access from the outside located on the lower level, along with most of the rooms for daytime use. These rooms have access to the outdoor terraces, with a pool in the roof, elevated on the ground to equal the upper bound of all the elements. #rardoarchitects #sitges #barcelona...Ver másFlores flooring
