“We appointed Pehrsson Scott to carry out the design and the construction of our town garden in Hertfordshire. We found Henry and the team to be very responsive and engaging at all times. They listened to our brief and involved us in the design process ensuring we understood every detail and were happy with the design before signing off each stage. They gave us a clear understanding of the costs from the outset and were always approachable and pleasant to deal with once the work began. We were very pleased with the outcome and our garden is now a space which the whole family can enjoy. We look forwards to working with them again in the future.”

“18 months ago I wanted to change part of my garden which had become overgrown. I decided to contact a young company for ideas , and Stathis suggested that he create a Woodland garden. We discussed a variety of bulbs , ferns , scrubs, and plants that would be appropriate together with a layout. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and I consider it excellent value.”

“Sarah is really good. She listens to what you want and makes helpful suggestions to improve your ideas. Also she is really able to come up with a whole garden plan. We love our garden and as it evolves will continue to work with Sarah. We have two kids and a dog so Sarah was mindful about what plants could be poisonous, and also understood the need for them to be robust, as we have a keen footballer in the family! Our garden is beautiful and there is colour and interest all year round.”

“Georgia did an amazing job transforming our backyard into a fantastic garden space. Our spec was very brief, we knew what we wanted the space to do so but not how it would look. Georgia was very considerate of our needs and came up with a fantastic looking, and functional, design. Her brave use of colour particularly really made the space, she came up with designs we would never have thought of. All our friends and family have been wowed with the space! “This atmospheric garden, a celebration of the female spirit, makes you think. First the tapestry of flowers draws you in: a patchwork of pink and white, including Aquilegia ‘Rose Barlow’, Lupin ‘Blossom’, and Iris sibirica ‘Pink Haze’, dotted with pure white trunked birches, Betula jacquemontii, and edged with tall hedges of yew. Next you notice the curving stone pathway at the heart of the garden representing a DNA double helix, then the silvery sculpture of a naked woman holding her head high, reflected in a series of shadowy water pools rippling outwards. The explanation: Ruth Willmott lost her sister-in-law to breast cancer in 2014 and this garden is her tribute. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, 130 women are diagnosed with it every day. If Ruth’s garden design makes more women check their breasts regularly, it will have done its most important job. Breastcancernow.org”

“Aralia designed and built our small garden, transforming the ragged mish-mash of unplanned year-on-year additions into a more modern space with two water features and plenty of room to sit at various points to admire the planting and the design. Height is achieved through pleached hornbeams, black bamboo (which grows up rather than out) and a crab apple. The illusion of greater space in what is a small garden is provided by the rill and pond and pathways. Distinct planted areas now lead the eye to the flowers and plants. All completed with the minimum fuss and in good time.”
