“With my front yard in desperate need of a new look I hired Mary to help in coordinating a new design. Mary met me at my home and spent a significant amount of time brainstorming ideas not only for a new landscape but helped incorporate new hardscape for the fireplace and sidewalks. After taking extensive measurements of my front yard, she came back with three different design concepts along with computerized pictures of what the finished design would look like. After my husband and I decided on a design, Mary helped us pick out the stone that was used for the hardscape. When the cement was getting poured, Mary was here to make sure all the work was done according to the plans. When it came time to picking out plants, she listened to what I had in mind as well as offered some other suggestions. When I had difficulty trying to find some of the plants at the nursery, she did not hesitate to make sure that the variety the nursery had was the right variety we needed for our plans. With the yard complete, I decided to paint the outside of the house. I had several colors in mind. Mary came by the house and offered her opinion on which color she felt complemented the stonework the best. Overseeing the cement work and picking out paint colors were not part of her job but Mary was so enthusiastic about the finished design, that she offered her time to make sure that the front of the house from landscape to paint colors was perfect. I would definitely work with Mary again. In fact we are in the process of putting together a design concept for our backyard. Mary is an amazing designer, flexible and very easy to work with.”

“Complete professional design and landscaping of my front yard, including complete front yard demolition, New stone maker wall, sprinkler/drip irrigation w/timer, colored concrete driveway, stamped walkway, slate front patio entrance, designer-selected (drought tolerant) landscape, front gate/fence way and colored concrete pad (behind fence) for disposal/storage shed (to be added later). In addition, I had water and drainage stubbed to the back yard for the 2nd half of the project. NOTE: This was the first of a 2-part landscape effort - a complete front and back redesign and landscape effort. This summary deals with the front. Summary: I've owned several homes over the decades and have contracted with various landscape professionals...these guys are several factors above the norm. I met with the Kerri staff prior to the job to lay out specs for the front and back yard, but more importantly, to get their design ideas. Right away I realized they had a far better vision for my property than I, so I actually just turned things over and let them do what they do best - design and execute. Rich Kerry runs a top-shelf, well-managed operation and uses premium quality materials throughout. I'm a Project Manager by profession, so I'm keen to the amount of preparation and coordination needed to keep a job flowing at top efficiency. They gave a target completion date and met it to the day, even with some minor changes which I had (and I think they're used to). Supervisors and landscape personnel are on site before 7:00 every day and believe me, the guys put in the effort. They have their sub-contractors trained - they deliver their materials to the minute needed. I have a lot of respect for the work the landscape team did and the physical effort they put forth. Never a mess left at the end of the day. If I need to walk out on site and get status from the job supervisors, it's automatic - they shut down any running equipment with out prompting as a courtesy to their client. Seriously, a great experience from start-to finish. With Kerri Landscaping, I got exactly what I wanted - a standout result to make my property the best on the block. I got more than I bargained for and could have imagined. There was never a corner cut. never a complaint, never an excuse. The real litmus test is with the neighbors - I received numerous compliments, and saw the Kerri team on my block later in the year with other clients. My thanks to Jorge Rios for leading an exceptionally well-run project, and For Rich Kerri in running a well-oiled business machine and holding high standards for his team and for the results. “My husband and I are so glad that we had Carol to design our front yard. Everything I asked for she took into account, making the final product all I wanted and more. She spent time with us about the different plants, rock, ground cover. She was here at least once every day they were working on the project. She took me with her when she ordered the rock, and boulders. I really enjoyed that. She made us feel a part of the whole plan. She was a professional, very personable and absolutely knowledgeable about the materials we were getting.
