Monica drew out samples and explained in detail what our thoughts would look like in reality. She made knowledgeable suggestions of what types of plants would work best for our project and the reasons for these ideas. The plan even detailed the projection of long term water use needed for the area and the plants. Our project looks beautiful and we are very happy with the end result, all thanks to Monica Perrone's expertise.”

The first was a fairly complicated deck rebuild followed by my request to build a series of planters from an architect's drawings. They did such a great job on those I asked them to replace all my exterior siding and even add a window which looks marvelous. I can't recommend Form and Function Landscapes enough. “With my front yard in desperate need of a new look I hired Mary to help in coordinating a new design. Mary met me at my home and spent a significant amount of time brainstorming ideas not only for a new landscape but helped incorporate new hardscape for the fireplace and sidewalks. After taking extensive measurements of my front yard, she came back with three different design concepts along with computerized pictures of what the finished design would look like. After my husband and I decided on a design, Mary helped us pick out the stone that was used for the hardscape. When the cement was getting poured, Mary was here to make sure all the work was done according to the plans. When it came time to picking out plants, she listened to what I had in mind as well as offered some other suggestions. When I had difficulty trying to find some of the plants at the nursery, she did not hesitate to make sure that the variety the nursery had was the right variety we needed for our plans. With the yard complete, I decided to paint the outside of the house. I had several colors in mind. Mary came by the house and offered her opinion on which color she felt complemented the stonework the best. Overseeing the cement work and picking out paint colors were not part of her job but Mary was so enthusiastic about the finished design, that she offered her time to make sure that the front of the house from landscape to paint colors was perfect. I would definitely work with Mary again. In fact we are in the process of putting together a design concept for our backyard. Mary is an amazing designer, flexible and very easy to work with.”

“My husband and I are so glad that we had Carol to design our front yard. Everything I asked for she took into account, making the final product all I wanted and more. She spent time with us about the different plants, rock, ground cover. She was here at least once every day they were working on the project. She took me with her when she ordered the rock, and boulders. I really enjoyed that. She made us feel a part of the whole plan. She was a professional, very personable and absolutely knowledgeable about the materials we were getting. He did THREE jobs for us within the span of two weeks. He poured concrete in job #1 and blew us away with the quality of the work. He did some irrigation/sprinkler work and planted bushes for us in job #2. And, finally, in the third job, he replaced our quite literally rotting wooden fence with a brand-new 7-footer that is the talk of the neighborhood. I highly recommend their work and their service. Further... no one could beat their low bids and their high-quality work!!! I'm looking forward to calling Roman and his crew this next summer to complete the rest of our future projects.
