“I met David Katz when I was interviewing landscape architects for a pool and spa I wanted to build on a property I'd recently acquired in the Hudson Valley. I'm a business person myself and very careful when choosing who I work with. Accordingly, I interviewed 5 different architects before choosing to go with Elite. Everyone I met with was talented, but David Katz was on a different level. Whereas others would walk the property and talk about what they thought, after I'd walked the property with David and we had talked, he started drawing. Within 15 minutes, I had a full rendition of what was clearly right for the property. If there were one theme to my relationship with Elite, it would be this--execution. The other architects talked vaguely of being able to get the pool done in 15 months or so. I told David I wanted to be swimming in thee months. He said I was crazy. I asked him if he could get it done. He said yes. Three months later, on the 4th of July weekend, my family was swimming. That's what's truly special about David and the Elite team--they can get the job done, on time, and on budget. Moreover, while I was forced to manage my house contractors daily, I didn't have to even think about Elite. They transformed our property in exactly the right way, and I didn't have to manage a thing. That has rarely happened to me before, and it was fantastic. Shortly after the completion of the pool and spa, I engaged Elite on another large scale project on the property. Just like the pool and spa, it was also done perfectly and perfectly on time and on budget. Elite (and in particularly, Mitch, David's son) continues to service our property and I suspect we'll build something great again in the future. I can't recommend the Elite team highly enough. If you want to do something great, they are your team.”

“We have worked with Aran and his team for several years to completely transform our landscape. Beginning with a very difficult and technical remodeling of our front entrance masonry and driveway that required extensive approvals from town boards and the historical commission. The new approach to the house created a beautiful and elegant approach to the house and was further enhanced with abundant plantings and lighting. We also worked with LandForm partners to remodel, or rather completely rebuild our second story deck, which came out beautifully. We also hired the firm to create a masterplan and richly planted landscape for our vacation home. We continue to invite Aran and the team back year after year to tackle new projects and continue to beautify our land.”

Which can tackle any size project and have a range of specialties including : deer resistant plantings, custom stone work, drainage and grading, etc.... We have successfully collaborated on numerous awarding winning projects and I would recommend their work.”

“I would highly recommend Outdoor Living of NJ for anyone considering investing in a high-end, outdoor kitchen. They were recommended by a neighbor. They were not pushy. They excelled on multiple levels, including design, construction management, and follow-through after completion. My wife and I live in a Hoboken condo with lots of rules and restrictions regarding our roof-top terrace. Outdoor Living of NJ coordinated all required permits and inspections with the town and building management. This project required plumbing (gas for grill and water for ice maker) and electrical (for lights and appliances. They offer various brands of grills and appliances and let us know how they compare, without pushing. We visited a granite yard with Outdoor Living to view stone and granite and it was a pleasant experience. The granite installers did such an awesome job (we have had granite installed before) that we hired them to do work inside our condo after this project. The cost was more reasonable than I initially expected, so we upgraded the ice maker, granite and added some cool, LED dimmable lights, which really makes a difference after the sun goes down. It has been 11 months since our installation and we could not be happier.”

“Barbara consulted with us with regard to landscaping for our property. The former owners spent $$$ on extensive landscaping and irrigation systems. Unfortunately, they did not work with a Landscape Architect, and the nursery salespeople provided a layout and selection which looked great when installed but after 10 years has grown in to a point where we have an overcrowding problem which can only be resolved by extensive removal of plantings and reconfiguration. Barbara provided us with a Plan to accomplish this and the result is very effective. I highly recommend Barbara for her professionalism and creative solutions and strongly advise others to use a licensed Landscape Architect as the 1st step when they are considering any updates or changes to their landscaping.”

“LDAW remodeled my pool and plantings for the landscape around the pool. They also designed the plantings for the front of my home. This is an extremely professional organization and I would use them again. Estimates are done by the owner and his drawings will explain exactly what to anticipate. The laborers are on time, reliable and take a lot of pride in their work. The owner is available and will return calls if need be. I cannot see how things could have gone better for both of these large projects for my home.”

This project was on a tight budget so decided to give Tilly a try. We were a little nervous because Tilly was a fraction of some of the other prices, but I can easily say they do it all with just as much thought and care as those other guys. Our designer Stephen really got to know our needs and his thoughtful design clearly reflected that. Chicago is not an easy climate for landscaping and we were given only plants that thrived in our space and not someone is California's. “Greg at VisionScape Design was recommended to me by my landscaper to help design a pool for my backyard, complete with landscaping, pool patio, etc. The project was somewhat challenging, because my backyard is sloped. Greg's design shows fencing, a walkway with steps from the driveway and deck to the pool, as well as steps and a walkway from a covered patio. There will also be a whirlpool on a lower deck, overlooking the pool. Greg's design was perfect, way above what I expected. But what really blew me away was the way he presented the plans. It included a construction plan, a beautiful planting schematic in color with all plants specified, numerous color "photos" showing what the final design will look like from many angles, as well as a video as if you were walking to the pool, with additional perspectives and even aerial views, and views at night. Greg went way above and beyond and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Greg and VisionScape Design!”
