“We (a team from our Board) hired Mr. Abbate and team to help us design a new Master Plan for our 90 year old, 55 acre, christian group camp in the mountains of Southern California. He and his team did a fabulous job. The end product was completed on time and on budget, and it met all of our very challenges set of demands. His team created a beautiful design that we are very proud of. Mike's work started with a very detailed process of understanding every inch of our facility and our uses and dreams for it. He helped us imagine how camp user needs might change over the years and how we could create a Master Plan that was better able to adapt. Because he has been a part of so many types of projects he had experiences that helped us to think, early in the design process, about potential challenges, that could have cost us dearly later in the project.
