Austin's design transformed a back yard with dirt, weeds, gravel and concrete under gnarled fruit trees into a beautiful, usable area with shady patios, lush plantings, and garden boxes. Austin's front yard design replaced white gravel and a wall of unkempt juniper bushes with an inviting path to the front door through a variety of blooming shrubs and succulents. At my request, Austin made sure the designs were low maintenance, drought-resistant, and featured plants that bloomed at different times throughout the year. Austin's designs doubled the usable space on my property, adding so much value. I now spend more time outside than inside!”

“The work done by Patrick and his team at Equinox Landscape brightens every single day of my life. I love the design, almost entirely suggested by Patrick. I love the quality of the materials and the wokrmanship. We had to modify the project a couple of times while in progress: costs went up too fast once we realized how hard it was to do any digging into the hillside. I also realized I wanted more of a finished look in one area than I had previously indicated. A drought set in and I became concerned about water rationing making it impossible to keep all the projected trees alive. A bobcat attacked my chickens and I changed the design for the coop. So it was an adventure, and in the end there were many changes. The end result though, makes me smile every day.
Please work closely with the team to make sure the cost does not go over budget, but keep in mind that this is not just about how everything looks, but also how meaningful it is to you in the end.”

“We were extremely pleased with the job Brian did for us.
We basically had our old and problematic backyard swimming pool demoed and we were faced with what to do with this large space. Brian presented us with a design and planting plan and named specific plants that we agreed mutually on to be planted. Also included was a plan for a pergola which ties in well. Under the pergola and on a concrete pad, he designed a bar. All of the swimming pool coping stones were used as landscape steps and old redwood planks from our old deck were re purposed for a landing outside our master bedroom which leads into the back garden.
Our existing front yard was filled with juniper, which the fire department wanted out because of the flammability aspect. We wanted perennials and plants that deer didn't like. We wanted a drip system and landscape lighting in both spaces.
It was also time to have our two story staircase and decks replaced. He designed all of that and used a hardwood for the material. Lights were recessed into the side walls and benches were built into the main deck, which is perfect for entertaining.
The job went well and his pricing was fair based on the scoop of the job.
I would recommend him highly.”

She has designed three garden "remodels" for us -- two more natural gardens in St. Helena and one a very formal garden in San Francisco. All have been exquisite! We have since sold our San Francisco house, but the buyers told us the garden sold the house, and we were very pleased because i sold for well above asking price!
Her latest large front yard and side yard remodel and received the "thumbs up" from passersby, our neighbors, friends and family. It is comprised of native, California drought and frost resistant plants. It has exceeded our highest expectations and reduced our water bill to a fraction of what it was. HIRE KELLIE!”
