“Brian Macarthur, owner of Green Isle Landscaping came highly recommended by friends. Brian is easy to talk to, knowledgeable and professional. We talked about my ideas and his recommendations so that the design evolved organically until our new yard, front and back, was complete. The entire project, which was for a newly built home, included landscaping, fencing, raised garden beds, sod and plants, stone work, irrigation and low-voltage lighting among other things. Young workers were polite to me and to each other and worked happily, even though most of the time temperatures were over 30 C. Brian and his two sons were involved daily from start to finish. The cost was fair and the quality is wonderful. We are getting frequent compliments from neighbors, friends and family.”

“Got my patio/deck done by GT. The designer was young, inexperienced i think, but the manager (jordan?) came out and oversaw things most of the time. There was a problem with the stone they ordered for the patio, it ended up taking a month for it to arrive. I raised hell about the delay, telling them it’s BS to make somebody wait that long so they took some money off the final cost of everything for me. Jon (the guy in charge of the landscapers working at my place) was really cool about everything tho. He stayed really late at my place some nights working on my yard to get things finished on time, he knew I was going to be really upset if they took to long. It looks very good now, all finished tho. Jon and Jordan did there best to accomodate me. Good customer service all in all.”

“Modern Earth landscaped our entire property in the summer of 2015. Karl Jesske and his team had a blank canvas to work with as our property was brand new. We started with a wish list of ideas. Karl took those ideas and implemented them in a 3D landscape design. What he came up with far exceeded our expectations. We did not change a thing on that initial design. It was perfect. The 3D design gave us a very clear picture of what to expect. We could clearly envision what the yard would look like in the end. After several weeks of hard work, the landscaping came to life and WOW! The end result was so true to the 3D design. We were extremely happy with everything. It was exceptional work completed by a hard working and talented crew. We couldn't be more proud to show the yard off and thoroughly enjoy. We are also impressed with the after care, as Karl follows up with any questions and needs we may have on the ongoing care and maintenance of the yard. Karl is great to work with and we highly recommend his company for your landscaping needs. Truly the best landscaping company out there. Chris & Maria”

His expertise from working at the Devonian Botanic Gardens & teaching classes , his practicing horticultural therapy for seniors, english garden training , and over 10 years of residential landscape design and installation knowledge truly make Kevin a master in his craft. You can tell he loves to learn with his Master Gardener certification and in addition, certification in pruning and Japanese garden design. This shows immense willingness and adaptation to each custom experience he presents to his customers. We also truly enjoy Kevin's personality and positive attitude. You can't help but smile when you are around him. His cinnamon buns are pretty killer too!”
