“Yardscapes did an excellent job of turning a bland hillside into a wonderfully terraced area of our yard by adding boulder and timber walls for garden spaces for what was then our new home. Additional terraced garden areas for my herbs, vegetables, flowers and greenhouse were skillfully blended into and at the edge of our wooded and natural habitat inspired yard. They understood our vision for the place and were ultimate professionals the whole way through. All of their work has stood the test of time, remaining intact and attractive for years and years. I'd highly recommend them to others.”

“We hired Urban Oasis to design a welcoming garden in the front of our house. We could not be happier. In a small amount of space, Stephen Kung created a vibrant and dynamic garden that is a far cry from the typical static and boring foundation planting. The plants he chose are unusual but not difficult and offer a visually delicious variety of color, texture, and height. He incorporated a few random boulders that were already there and supplemented with a few other well-placed stone elements that made it all make sense in a very pleasing way. With just a little weeding and pruning for maintenance, we have a garden that never fails to get oohs and aahs from guests. We also love Stephen's interest in creative reuse of materials and incorporation of edible plants. 5 stars!”

“I hired Hilscher Design and Ecology to design a front yard landscape for our home, which included many native perennials, and some native trees and shrubs. Diane is a very talented landscape architect, and her knowledge of native plants and plant ecology is phenomenal. She designed the landscape to provide complementary plant combinations and sited the plants based on their environmental requirements. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants an attractive, sustainable landscape that provides habitat for pollinators, birds and other wildlife. We and our family and friends installed the landscape based on the plan provided by Hilscher Design and Ecology.”

“Richard Woldorsky is a botanical and landscapping genius! Mr. Woldorsky (who I did not know prior to our job) completly transformed my front yard. He brought wonderful colors with his well thought out plantings (that as an added benefit do not require too much maintenance), intersting use of stones, rocks, and pavers that created a perfect harmony with my 1920 mission style home, and used subtle details that only a true professional and person who has the utmost passion in his craft could have thought of and pulled off. He and his crew were extremely professional, and a pleasure to work with. They finished my job under budget and on time. The finished work left my wife and I speachless!
