“Mrs. Anjali had created a unique design for our front yard. She worked diligently with us every step of this project because we did not know what we want, what would be appropriate for our climate zone and our particular location. She was very patient, understanding and kind. We appreciated that! She explained thoroughly the ins and outs of this project. We were particularly impressed with her knowlege of plants and flowers, it was fun to work with her.
Our front yard has been outgrowing and was not taken care of for years.
Mrs. Anjali turned it into a beautiful shrubs and flower bed. She took out some old bushes and trees, kept our favorite Japanese maple (which one couldn't even see) and incorporated it into her design.
And we loved the choice of shrubs and flowers she made!
One more thing to add --- she managed to stay on budget! She is a very resourceful designer.”

“Our experience working with Jason and The Gardeners has been nothing short of outstanding! When we purchased our house, the backyard was wooded and dark, with a small deck and an overgrown and poorly constructed pergola. Jason provided us with a landscaping plan that was beyond our imagination -- and The Gardeners took that vision and made it a reality. Our outdoor space is now the highlight of our home -- complete with an outdoor kitchen and dining area, multi-level bluestone patio, firepit, gunite pool, and poolhouse -- all complimented with beautiful trees and plantings and dramatic lighting. We were especially impressed at Jason's careful planning and selection of plantings -- there is never a time that something new is not blooming providing us with continuous color throughout the seasons! Jason's design has provided us with a space that is not only aesthetically beautiful but also perfectly functional for our family and for our love of outdoor entertaining. Jason is easy to work with, is a great listener and has incredible landscaping knowledge, design sense and attention to detail. Throughout our project, he was always available and responsive, and the work was done in a timely and professional manner. “No one is better than Blade of Grass. Exceptional vision coupled with practical advice. Our backyard plan morphed from a simple "let's knock off the rotting deck" to a backyard redo replete with blue stone patio, field stone wall, irrigation system, tree removal and many new trees and plantings. The team worked hard under difficult conditions (no access for machinery, giant boulder to dig out), the job was done in a timely manner and the outcome surpassed my very high expectations. Tom and Pete were easy to work with, professional and fun. They listened to what we wanted and guided us on key plantings/trees. When a winter storm caused a tree to list heavily to one side, they came and replanted it - almost a year after the job. I am incredibly happy with our backyard transformation and highly recommend Blade.”
