Meet Our Team Chris Kolb is Kolb Custom Land Services. You will be cared for by the owner. Chris is a visionary landscape designer, artist, craftsman, and conservationist. Chris is also a planner and problem solver who applies a consultative approach to uncover exactly what it is a customer is looking for including budget before deriving a tailored and phased plan from which to draft designs and schedule installations. Chris is also an artist and innovator, which greatly informs his design and hand craftsmanship made of natural stone, plants, and light! In addition, Chris provides low maintenance horticultural plans during the planning phase, so there's no surprises. Chris may provide high-end horticultural service for select clientele. practice a custom landscape builder, and a high-end, estate-level landscape horticulturist, fine gardener, and consummate plantsman. He has worked in and studied from some of the country's most beautiful outdoor coastal spaces. Chris also has a vast knowledge of plants native to Massachusetts, Florida, and California. He has designed and built full-scale landscapes and fine gardens on both the East and West Coasts. Chris has successfully established enduring, lush, and floriferous, low-to-no-water usage gardens in areas subject to drought, water bans and limited aquifers or irrigation water access. He has designed conventional irrigated spaces, as well as wet areas and conservation. He has researched, written, and presented public talks on topics of stewardship, native plant design, suburban wildlife corridors, and the universal elements and principles of design as it pertains to outdoor living.
