“Garden Architecture worked with my wife and I to redesign everything outside the walls of our house. The work included a driveway, walks, two entrances, patio, pond, firepit, retaining walls, stormwater management (two rain gardens and an underground surge tank), site lighting and plantings. I am an architect so brought some of my own ideas to the project, good and bad. Kirsten was a great collaborator and a delight to work with. She is knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the work and a creative designer, for our project doing everything from addressing tricky grading and drainage problems to creating a beautiful environment in which we now happily spend as much time as possible.”

Another example of their professionalism and superior quality and service they have consistently provided was with the Catonsville's Chamber of Commerce who has contracted with Amy's Garden Design for the past few years to design, plant and maintain all of the planters throughout downtown thoroughfare. In addition, Amy's Garden Design offers a wide array of workshops related to gardening and plant related. “I have used the services of Miles Barnard of South Fork Studio Landscape Architecture for probably over ten years and multiple projects in different towns. Miles created a private oasis with pool and full landscaping in the rear yard of an historic house that I renovated in Chestertown, MD as well as doing full landscaping design services for a 5 1/2 acre property on Broad Creek in Annapolis, MD. Miles was especially helpful in working with the county government to get me through the extensive permitting process required to build a new house in the Critical Buffer Zone along a body of water in Annapolis. Miles is a total professional with great design skills, knowledge of the industry and ability to get the job done and work with contractors, engineers and architects.”
