“What a wonderful experience to have this company redo my back yard. From the design to the implementation, Earth, Turf & Wood was professional all the way. The existing flagstone patio was redesigned and redone. It had been installed incorrectly and after just 3 years was dangerous because of stones becoming unstable. It also was incorrectly laid and flooded every time it rained. Now it is a charming and safe place to relax. The landscaping is just awesome. My fence was pushed back and plants and trees were chosen of varying heights, flowering times, and colors. The finished yard looks exactly as the 'blueprint' does. The people who worked on my yard were all passionate about what they do, respectful of the house, mindful that their worksite was actually someone's home. They never left for the day without securing the yard so my dogs were safe, cleaning off any dust or dirt from surfaces, and putting their tools and equipment off to the sides. They worked constantly from early morning to late afternoon, stopping only for a brief lunch. No frequent smoke breaks, loud music, phone breaks, etc. Quite different from other people who have worked in my yard. Very nice guys, too, and inspirational as far as work ethics.”

“We had a excellent relationship working with Doug and his crew. Fernhill had built a large retaining wall for our yard last year. We were more than pleased with the quality and detail in the work. We then decided to hire Fernhill for a complete redo of both our front and back yards. The project included a small retaining wall in the front, a large flagstone patio and fire pit in the back yard, planting and lighting. Doug's attention to our project and his crew's professionalism were constant from start to finish. They were timely and finished the job within the given time frame. They left each day only after cleaning up and leaving the areas they were working on neat, clean and tidy. We gave Doug the freedom to create a design that would make our yards look great and couldn’t be more pleased with his excellent and unique design. We appreciated his eye for detail and the personal touches throughout the project. We would highly recommend hiring this company.”

“Amazing work on our landscape lighting system!!! When Ray came out we thought we knew what we wanted. After walking our property and looking through his extensive portfolio we realized his vision for our home was a better fit than our initial incomplete plans. This guy knows his stuff. “We recently enlisted quotes from 5 landscapers to rip out, replace all of old shrubbery as well as our concrete walkway and rear patio to be replaced with pavers. Quite an extensive and expensive undertaking Out of all the companies contacted, Mike Wambaugh from Waterfall Gardens responded within a day to survey the area and returned with a few days with a color computer drawings and pictures with descriptions of all the trees and shrubbery as well as catalogues with the recommended pavers. His design of the patio was exactly what I had in mind while the others didn't offer anything of the sort. We decided to complete the job in 2 phases; the font in the fall and the rear in the spring. I couldn't believe how fast and efficient they were; everything was completed in about 4 days. Mike was gracious enough to complete a few extra projects at no charge such as moving all of the extra dirt to back for future grading projects and incorporating 2 dry wells to hide the drainage of our front spouting drainage. Truly a 5 star project.We look forward to completing the project in the spring so I can enjoy the patio,”
