Apple Landscape Management, Inc. is a creative full-service Landscape Design and Construction company. With 30 plus years of experience, our purpose is to provide our customers with solutions that are environmentally friendly and, after careful evaluation, fit the needs of the client. Apple Landscape Mgt. Inc. started in 1984 and in 1990 became a family business. Bert Van Vlack, President, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture. His experience comes from all phases of landscape contracting, greenhouse production, nursery production, teaching, pesticide application, computer aided drawings and photo realistic renditions. Matt Van Vlack joined the business with B.S. degree in Agribusiness from Delaware Valley College. His experience stems from working in the company for several years and performs tasks in all of the disciplines.

All of our our landscaping and hardscaping jobs have been handled by Apple Landscape for the past 27 years. At our first home in Montgomery County, Burt created an oasis of flower gardens with a paver patio & arbor along with a beautiful pond and waterfall. Our backyard was a relaxing retreat. At our current home, Burt and Matt transformed a backyard space that hadn’t seen any landscape maintenance into a gorgeous space for outdoor living. He’s helped up upgrade our pool patio, added raised flower beds and increased the beauty of all our planting beds in front and in back of the house. Our home is impeccably landscaped and cared for year round by Apple Landscape. All of their work on our property has always been timely, efficient and cost effective. Burt & Matt are incredibly hard workers and they are very knowledgeable. They will only recommend a job or a certain species of tree/plant if they know it’s right for our garden (lighting, soil conditions, etc). We are completely confident in the work of Apple Landscaping and highly recommend this company. If you want highly knowledgeable landscapers who get the job done correctly, I recommend Apple Landscape. Without a doubt, Burt & Matt are the best landscape company in the area.

We had probably 10 companies out to give us landscaping proposals for a new build. The builder did a poor job of grading and seeding our neighbors and they all said they wished they would have done it themselves, so we decided to get bids. Apple Landscape was the only company that came through and didn't just pitch sod down my throat. They listened to our needs and goals for the yard and put together a unique plan that fit our budget and was exactly what we wanted. We plan to use them for ongoing maintenance of the yard and landscaping and couldn't be happier with the job they have done.

This is the second year that Apple Landscape has been back to our home. Bert and Matt are both very knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping and making the most out of your budget without sacrificing look and curb appeal. They are honest to tell you what should and should not be done. They also provide solid advice on what products to use and when to use them. Professional and fairly priced.

Apple Landscape had a wonderful vision for my back yard. They built a beautiful contemporary deck that complimented the lines of my home, Then added a natural flagstone patio to connect my pond and to walkway to pool. This along with some plantings completed our outdoor space making it our favorite outdoor living area!

I have known and hired Apple Landscape for many years. Bert and Matt are very responsible and honest professionals. I value their expertise. They have created a pond, bog, landscaping, plumbing and even done tile work for us. There is nothing that they cannot do and it is always quality work.

The original pool was created into a pond then years later converted in to a swim pond. We have monitored the plants in the bog to provide clear water in the pond to enjoy the koi and catfish.
