Irene and Bill Turnbull provided within our budget, a turnkey solution in our addition which included the preparation and overseeing of all architectural and engineering drawings, obtaining permits, choosing appropriate finishing materials, hiring qualified tradesmen and supervision right through to the completion of the project. Irene always delights us with her profound knowledge in decorating our homes, giving good advice in lighting, choosing paint palette, fabrics, window dressings and essential how-tos to pull it off in our own way. We use Turnbull Interiors for all our renovation and interior decorating needs because they have always met and exceeded our expectations.”

“Rebecca, RacK Design was amazing to work with! I run a not-for-profit business that need a lot of work for not a huge budget. She was amazing at coming up with ideas outside of the box, brought the building into 2020 with respecting its historical charm and was hands on through the process. “Michael and his staff were amazing. I couldn't imagine building a house without a designer... I searched and searched all over Buffalo and the only one who fit what I was looking for was Michael P and his Room staff... It is a decision I do not regret at all... We worked together over the 9 months my house was being built and are still working on projects a year later. People walk in my house and are in awe. It is exactly what I was looking for and I cannot say enough about the service I received.”

“We engaged Staples Design Group to change the interior of our new home from modern to a more traditional look to compliment the exterior design of the home. We also used them to finish the basement space to compliment the new traditional look on the upper floors. They managed the whole process from design, contractor selection, pricing, paint colors, furniture and accessories and project management. They did an exceptional job, on time, on budget and we were completely satisfied. I would strongly recommend their services to others.”

“Sarah did an amazing job helping us with our basement renovation. We have a small space with some constraints from the original construction of the house, and Sarah nonetheless managed to create a bright and open space that doesn't feel like a basement at all. She also gave us different options at various price points for furniture, and when we wanted some modifications, she quickly turned those around and met ours needs perfectly. If we ever have another home renovation project, we'd absolutely go back to Sarah for our design needs.”

“I would highly recommend Design for Conscious Living. I wanted to spice up my drab apartment and decided that I needed professional help, so I hired Celia. I was initially impressed by her professionalism and soon learned that she also has a sense of humour, which was useful when she worked with me to accommodate my somewhat eclectic tastes, The results were beyond my expectations. Even simple things she suggested completely changed the feel of an area. Her use of colour and her ability to utilize space transformed my normal dull apartment into a vibrant living space, on which I have since received numerous compliments from friends. She was a pleasure to work with, and I would not hesitate to hire her again.”

“We worked with Parkyn Design on our new home build. Soon after our architectural plans were done, we got Tania Parkyn and her team involved in the process. This timing was paramount to them understanding our big vision. Three things stand out from our work with Parkyn Design. First, one of the biggest strengths Tania demonstrated was her ability to really listen and understand what we wanted. She really did hear everything we said: our ideas, our dreams, our likes, our dislikes. We saw proof of this in the end results when our home seemed to fit us like a glove. Second, Tania’s experience ensured that our home would be timeless, yet incredibly unique and personal to us. Because Parkyn Design is current with trends and ahead of the curve on what’s coming, we were introduced to new products and materials which made the choices for everything both practical and leading edge. Finally, as first time homebuilders, the process of building, designing and decorating a home can be very intimidating. Parkyn Design made this process fun and enjoyable. Tania and her team brought such excitement and passion to our job! Sometimes it was hard to tell who was more excited - them or us! Overall, this is a top-notch design studio.
