“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“Overall, we very much enjoyed working with Marosi, owner of ACCENT, and her team; we could not have asked for a harder working and more collaborative and knowledgeable group of interior designers to work with on this project (read below for more details). We can't wait to work with Marosi again on future projects! Knowledge: Marosi very clearly possesses a deep knowledge and understanding of interior design. Everything from the aesthetic (ex: "these colors work well together") to the practical (ex: "the bathroom vanity needs to be X inches deep for maximum comfort and usability"). Experience: While working with Marosi, it was very clear that she is a result of many years of experience. When handling emergency/urgent situations she remained calm, when choosing products she knew what seemed to work well and what didn't, and she knew what was worth spending your money on and what was not. All traits that can really only be earned/gained by experience. We never felt that she was imposing her previous experiences with clients on us (wanting our project to look like theirs or expecting us to act like them) but rather seemed to be enjoying and looking forward to being a part of our project and making it a new part of her own experience as an interior designer. Attitude: Always, and I mean always, Marosi and her team had wonderful attitudes. They were constantly positive, excited to collaborate, cool under the stresses of a tight time frame, and happy to answer our practically non-stop questions. For our project they were required to travel and communicate mostly electronically with us - two aspects which I am sure did not make their jobs any easier - and yet we never saw these hardships reflected in their attitudes. Ability to Meet Deadlines: This project, had an incredibly tight time frame. From initial meeting to final day, there was hardly any time to breath (and there was certainly no time for error or delays). Marosi never once failed to meed a deadline and kept everything in her control running smoothly. Budgets: In addition to an incredibly tight time frame, Marosi was also working with an incredibly tight budget - and she could not have done a better job in this regard. She initially created 3 different budget proposals and what each budget would allow us to do and then worked with us to create a hybrid budget. Throughout the project, she did extensive research to find us the best product within our constraints, she and her team found and coordinated excellent deals with vendors, and she coordinated budget checks with us at different stages of the project. She kept detailed records of spending, provided us with all the receipts, all purchased items were accounted for, and ultimately she came in on budget (it may have even been a little under). In summation, it was a truly wonderful experience working with ACCENT. We handed Marosi and her team a challenging project: a property in need of some serious updating, a commercial lodging property that needed to withstand wear and tear but also needed to feel inviting and comfortable, and a very tight time frame and budget. From day one to the very end (even past the formal completion of the project), Marosi was an invaluable professional resource and truly wonderful person to work with. We are thrilled with the outcome of our project and love that all her hard work and hours spent collaborating with us are reflected in our property.”
