“Deirdre came highly recommended to me from a friend and was an absolute lifesaver! I bought a very small terraced house at the end of 2015 and needed help on how to make the space not only stylish but also workable for me. I availed of the designer for a day service and could not recommend it more highly. The living room is awkwardly shaped but Deirdre measured everything and drew up a 3D model - making the most of the space, ensuring furniture of the appropriate size was picked and in summary creating a fabulous living space that I never would have achieved by myself. By the end of the day she had selected all my furniture for the house, light fittings, paint colours and had designed bespoke storage units. This made the whole process of kitting out the house so much more manageable and saved me months of traipsing clueless around furniture shops. It also meant I was able to give crystal clear instructions to those carrying out the work. Not only did she do a fabulous job & select options which all my friends and family have commented reflect my taste & personality, she also actively identified opportunities to create space in my house. I had been worried about the size of one of the bedrooms. She very quickly identified that by moving the light switch and changing the direction of the swing of the door - that the room could easily accomodate a floor to ceiling 3 door wardrobe. This service is well worth the money - I was able to go out and buy everything I needed for the house secure in the knowledge that I was spending my budget well, that the items would be in keeping with the house & had been selected by someone who knows what she's doing. I had a set budget & Deirdre was great for keeping me in check & ensuring we were sticking within that. She knows all of the furniture catalogues inside out from IKEA to upmarket shops. In summary I could not recommend this service more highly. Deirdre has transformed my house into a lovely home. Thank you so much :-)”
