“I had a wonderful experience working with Liza Holder from Homegrown Decor. We built a house from the ground up, and we couldn't have done it without Liza's help! Her eye for detail yet ability to focus on the big picture - all while remaining calm and super practical - made the whole process fun and sanity-saving. From helping us pick out tile to appliances to paint colors and all our furnishings, she was able to convey our personal tastes so well. The best part? It truly looks like "our" home. She also worked within our budget, helped us repurpose old furniture and rugs, accessorize and even make our home kid- (we have four of them!) and dog-friendly. I highly recommend Liza. “I hired Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors to create a new look for our den. We needed new furnishings, accessories, lighting, and a fresh coat of paint. We are a family of four and we needed a timeless space to relax after busy work and school days. To my surprise the project turned out better than expected. They provided the electrician to come and replace my old hanging chandelier. The painters were on time and clean. After proposing a sofa that I was not 100% sold on, I went against my feelings to let them piece the room together and I could not have been happier with the selections. Thanks again!”

“I first met Gina when she was the designer for a friend's home and I loved what she did for them. I hired her to redo the bathrooms in my home in Maryland and that led to the whole house. You can tell that she loves what she does by the attention she pays to each detail of the project. Later I hired her to help me redo my house in Texas. I was a little worried with the house being in Texas but once again she did a great job capturing exactly what I wanted and paying attention to all details of the project. No matter where I live Gina is the one I will go to whenever I have a design project. Gina is a true professional and a joy to work with. Thru our working together we became very good friends and I have been working for her part time in the design studio and in the retail store "Details of Design" for the last eight years. Even though I live in Texas now I still go back to Annapolis occasionally to work for her.”

“Six years ago, after having lived in a new house I had bought the previous year, I needed help. I wanted to make my house into a warm, welcoming home that would reflect my personality. I chose Anna Light to be my interior designer. She was always very professional. She focused on me and my tastes, my likes and dislikes and did a wonderful job. Anna has made my house into the home I’ve always wanted. It’s so beautiful. I love coming home to it and I enjoy inviting my friends over. Anna is a truly gifted interior designer. Not only does she have an innate artistic ability, but she was able to clearly determine my tastes and design my home décor around them. I also appreciated her desire and ability to stay within my budget. I worked with her again the following year to help me decorate my home for a Christmas party. She, once again, demonstrated her “gift” by making my home elegant and inviting for my guests. In the years since, she has helped me choose additional accent pieces, and even helped me frame several oil paintings. Anna is wonderful to work with and goes “above and beyond” to make her clients very happy. She’ll be the one I call the next time I need an interior designer.”
