Interior Concepts, Inc. is a full service, award-winning interior design firm with 50 employees, a 50,000 square foot warehouse, our own delivery service and a top tier roster of clients. Over the last three decades, we have transformed spaces small and grand – from D.C. to California and many in between. We have crossed the oceans and the globe, to mainland China, Jordan, Spain, England and the Caribbean. Recently at home, we had the privilege to design for the Vice President and Mrs. Pence at the Naval Observatory Residence. Interior Concepts is headed by Arlene Critzos, a graduate of Mount Vernon College in Washington, D.C.; a student of the Foreign Study League, University of Rome; Norwich College of Arts in Holland, and St. Gabriel's College in London, England, as well as a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). We have worked with Interior Concepts, Inc. for over 10 years on very different projects (brand-new houses, renovations) in different locations throughout the country. In all instances they "got" exactly the feel we wanted and, with very few meetings, produced a polished result on time and at a price point we requested. Currently working with them and this assessment continues.

Kate and the whole model home team are so great to work with. They have done the interior design for six of our model homes, they are so easy to work with and have a complete handle on the vision they bring to our homes. Our clients remark all the time about the furnishings and the special touches throughout.

It has been a pleasure to work with Interior Concepts on a few of our most recent multi-family housing projects. Samantha Butcher, Ann McGowan and Kate McCloskey have all been creative in both concept and design and in their ability to help us remain within budget. They listen to the specific needs of a project and offer long-term, quality solutions to our design challenges. Interior Concepts created a beautiful property for our company. They designed the interiors of a model apartment, clubroom, pub room, fitness center and multiple common spaces. Their choices were superb; from furniture to accessories to artwork, they created beautiful and inviting spaces. The quality of their choices was excellent and deadlines were fulfilled. Ann and Johanna were extremely professional and really listened to their clients to ensure they fulfilled the vision for the use of the spaces. I am thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend their services!

Drucker + Falk contracted with Interior Concepts, Inc. to complete 3 clubhouse renovations. This team was amazing to work with and exceeded our expectations. Very easy to work with, listened to all of our concerns and made adjustments mid stream of the project when necessary. Worked closely with the architect and provided design/space feasibility feed back when something didn't make sense. We will certainly contract with Interior Concepts, Johanna Bruce and Samantha Butcher, again in the future.

After building our house, we looked into Interior Design services. After meeting with a couple of companies, we decided to go with Interior Concepts. We have worked with Courtney Griffin for over a year and we couldn’t be happier with the results. She did an excellent job with aligning our aesthetic with the final product. Highly recommend Courtney and Interior Concepts for any design services.

My husband and I purchased a home that conveyed with the furnishing. While it was nice to move into a fully furnished home, it was not our style. We also interviewed three different companies, and from our first meeting with a Arlene Critzos, we had an immediate connection. We had not worked with an interior designer in the past so the process was new to us. My husband and I had an idea of what we liked/disliked, but Arlene (and later Samantha) helped us bring our design dreams to reality. It was a very creative, iterative process, and we found each meeting to be more and more exciting, as we worked together to bring our vision to reality. We were presented with the most beautiful fabrics and furnishings that my husband and I could have never dreamed up. Install day always went impeccably, and we were always thrilled to see the final product. Today I can honestly say I absolutely love our home and it’s because of Interior Concepts and how they brought our vision to life.

Arlene and Joyce have provided interior design for three separate homes for my family over the years, one at Lake Anna, one in Potomac, and our current home in Bethesda. They love what they do and they truly care about their clients. I will continue to use them and would highly recommend them!

I was so pleased with the services provided by Interior Concepts and Joyce Pearl. We used her to design our new home. She presented a cohesive vision for the whole house while also incorporating many of our current pieces into the new design. They are very professional and I would highly recommend Interior Concepts for any size project.

We hired Interior Concepts after interviewing three other companies to do a rather large job of decorating main areas of our custom home in Bethesda: Foyer, Grand room and a Kitchen/Family Room. We were very impressed with their Senior Designer Courtney Griffin, who striked us as someone who will get the job done, experienced, upbeat and with good systems in place to support her talents. The company’s most impressive deliverables are as follows: scaled drawings that you own once you pay your initial fee; presentation of several concepts and a turn key solution with minimal time spend on your part with a one-day install at the end. Our project turned out absolutely stunning: stylish it blended both of our tastes together to reflect something unique and harmonious. Everyone who has visited us since is an awe of Courtney’s talents! The process was pain free and Courtney’s responsiveness eased so many construction pains! I would vouch 150 per cent for this company and their processes, reliability and of corse Courtney Griffin who is an absolute gem of an interior designer. The company delivered everything on time and on budget and it was totally worth the investment! Would love to do another project with them!

Interior Concepts is a great design company. I have used them on numerous large-scale projects in the multi-family housing industry. Sam and Johanna are amazing to work with, their communication is above and beyond what I have experienced with other design groups. I just wish I had more projects to give them at the moment.
