My son’s navy, green and gray football-themed room, with a light under his bed and a basketball hoop, will grow with him until he leaves for college. Working with Michele has been an adventure and I’m excited to continue with her throughout the rest of the house!”

“In 2018-2019 we renovated the entire first floor of a house we had recently purchased. Kimmel Design worked side by side with us to not only design the new floor plan but also in selecting everything from kitchen cabinets to light fixtures. Kathryn Kimmel was a major part of figuring out how we could redesign the master suite to meet all of our needs. She also came up with a new configuration for the kitchen when we picked appliances that were not going to work in the previously designed space. She was also great in helping us determine tiles for counter tops, floors, showers, etc. In general, she filled the gaps when we were at a loss and listened to our desires when sketching out a functional floor plan to meet our needs. Teresa has always taken the time to spend with us to understand what our use case for the work we want done. Going far beyond simply putting colors together or fabrics, Teresa continually brings new ideas to the table based on her conversations with us. My wife is a visual person who isn't always comfortable with change unless she can see it. Teresa brings many images with her in preparation for these meetings. This last project was a complete color change to the exterior of our home. Teresa's first meeting with us for was for 3hrs. She prepared several different palettes for us to begin working through. She walked us around our property to visualize the many options in shade and sunlight. Teresa makes it easy to tell her what we did and did not want or like. We went from a basic 2 color with black shutter to a rich 4 color palette that makes every architectural element stand out. Look forward to our next project.”
