“I have been using Jenny Rapp now for almost 3 years. It all began about one week after I moved into our new home. I reached out to Jenny to help me with our family room. It then went from our family room to kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and now we are currently working on a living space in our basement. She was just that good that I felt compelled to use her for each space in our house. It has become our inside joke that each time she comes over I end up asking her about another room which leads to another project. “My husband and I finally bought our "Dream House". Built in 1922 it had everything we were looking for but my main requirement was that it was "old". I had visions of restoring it to its glory days! I had carried around a file titled "Old House" for years with pictures of ideas and furniture that I knew I wanted to incorporate into our house. We were only going to redo one bathroom, well maybe two. But as we admired our beautiful old girl, we knew she was worthy of an entire renovation. We had a few rules: update but respect the period in which she was built. And we had to keep the original floors and windows! I needed a decorator/designer who could incorporate my ideas and dreams, in a very tight timeframe, without it losing our ideas and influence. And it is, no doubt, the prettiest house in Saint Louis/Clayton area. After all, we have couples who leave their picture, name and number several times a month with a letter that says, "if you ever think of selling your house, please call us." “I first used Directions in Design (DID) in 2003 when I completely gutted and renovated my townhouse in the Philadelphia area. I then used DID again in 2007 when I was relocated to North Carolina.
