Even though my project was based in a different state, I received personalized support, knowledge and guidance that helped me to thoughtfully and masterfully navigate my vision. I originally hired someone to create a blueprint for me and it was a disaster because they weren't professionally trained to create said documents. Umoja Homes was able to recreate my project in a timely fashion and meet the expectations depicted by my builder. “I had recently swapped my dining and living room furniture as we never used the living room, and only used the dining room for larger groups and needed lots of space a couple of times a year. Sarah Herman's came recommended to help me with curtains, carpets, light fixtures and artwork, transforming my furnishings into masterpieces. She was exceptional at tuning into what my preferences were and came up with beautiful options in my budget. I could not be happier with the end result. Every single person who comes to my home compliments the decor of these rooms. I love sitting in my sitting room (previously the dining room) as it is warm and inviting. The new dining room is spectacularly outfitted with a classic Tuscan feel that adds a lot to our culinary experiences in that room.”

“Nicole is absolutely amazing. I can't say enough good things about her and the interior decorating services that she provided for us. Nicole originally helped us in a historic home in Jacksonville. She was incredible at learning what we wanted, matching the neighborhood feel, and making the house feel just right. We then unexpectedly moved to the beach!! Nicole worked with us to repurpose our old furniture, adapt it to our new house style and make the PERFECT house sitting. We love, love, love the work that Nicole did for us. We're so grateful.”

She tapped into my inarticulate needs brilliantly and came up with a truly lovely design that made all my previous fears disintegrate. “We found Nile by searching the ASID.org website seeking a well-regarded interior designer. We were attracted to many of Nile’s designs on his website, and hired him after interviewing several other designers. He stood out from other designers in the ideas he could offer in only our first meeting. We had very little time to devote to designing our home yet had high expectations, and entrusted Nile to help bring out our taste. The job involved designing and furnishing our main floor rooms including family room, living room, dining room, and foyer in a large open concept house. Nile did a fantastic job, offering us choices that reflected our style, and providing his expertise on how to bring our eclectic preferences to life. He struck the right balance in advising us when our ideas may or may not work out, providing lessons learned from his experience and those of his peers, and effectively communicating with us throughout the process, from start to finish. He is a consummate professional who repeatedly demonstrated why he earned our complete trust through his skill and ability to produce incredible results while effectively managing our interactions. “I hired Jere Bradwell from European Home Collection to completely renovate my family room and to update my dining and living room. Jere is now working on renovating my husband's study. “This husband and wife team are amazing! They have unbelievable talent and are so personable. Benavides Design House turned our unfinished basement into a beautiful space complete with an art room for the kids, spare bedroom, entertainment room, pool table/game room and a wine cellar wall. They did renderings for us ahead of time so that we could really see what our space would look like. They sat down with us and made sure we were comfortable and got to know our style before they made recommendations. They were flexible enough to put up with our last minute change of heart on a few decisions. They were also very responsive to our calls and emails throughout the process. Plus when we first moved to the South Jersey area, we paid almost double the hourly fee for a designer so we consider BDH to be very competitively priced. You can not go wrong with this talented pair!!”
