“Emma visited us in our new home the week following completion and we spent time in every room attempting to describe the look and feel we were seeking. We set her the seemingly impossible challenge of coming up with design schemes for every room in just two weeks. The mood boards Emma created in such a short space of time are testament to her brilliant style and creativity but, above all, her ability to listen really carefully and deliver what we had asked for. The scope of Emma's ideas included wall finishes, colours, fabrics for all furnishings, carpentry, tiles, floorings, lighting, an attic conversion and new bathrooms. After an hour on the phone fine tuning colours and fabric Emma was able to deliver a fully specified mood board for each room together with fabric, wallpaper and paint specifications. We renovated and decorated the whole interior of the property in just 14 weeks and this was only possible because we had Emma's schemes to work with. Building and decorating costs were definitely kept to a minimum because all the decisions had been made in advance and the spirit of all trades involved remained high throughout because of this. I cannot recommend Emma highly enough - nothing is too much trouble for her and her cheerful, positive attitude will carry you through the process with confidence. Our beautiful home is much admired by everyone who visits, but the best reward is the pleasure we have every day in actually living in the finished rooms.”

“Mia listened to what I wanted and elevated my ideas to make them so much better. When I have attempted interior design myself I was left with compromises where I had run out of time or inspiration. Living with those compromises, with them looking back at you every day, can get wearing. With the work Mia has done, nothing is a compromise- everything is beautiful. Sleeping in a room that is a work of art makes everything seem better.
I liked the fact that I still had the ultimate choice but the choices I was making were ring fenced for me, making sure I was picking pieces/ wallpaper/ paints that would work together perfectly. This approach saved me so much time and no more buyers remorse!
Working with Mia was a pleasure, fun and so satisfying to see nice rooms turn into stunning places you want to be.”

“I recently signed up to Fifi McGee online course.
We are taking on a bungalow renovation and had no idea where to start.
As I’ve progressed through the course I’ve found myself saying to my husband “it’s worth for xxx”
It started with the budget planner, floor planning, then I found my style, colour theme, planning contractors and timings..... it just goes on and on. We have definitely avoided costly mistakes.
What’s more I feel inspired and loving dipping and out of the course as I progress my ideas whilst in lock down.
I also love how practical the advice is, you can tell it’s learned improvements through experience rather than academia.
