“Initially we met Christopher after meeting with several other contractors that we really didn't feel a connection with. From the start we were a little skeptical because we talked for over two hours and he took no notes or did any measuring. He gave us a list of inventory we needed to purchase and to our surprise is was more detailed list than the other contractor who spent 30 min or so measuring every little thing so we knew he was our guy. He sent over the next day a 4 page proposal with all of the details we talked about and few options we didn't . Our master bath project was underway. Everybody that came into our home was very pleasant professional cleaned up everyday and worked long hours. Victor the project manager was excellent in his communication skills and set our minds at ease. Our house was built in 1930 but our new bath is better than any 5 star in Vegas or the Caribbean , we know because we love to travel. We are beyond happy with what was done and will use Christopher again and have already referred him to a friend.”

“HYD did an excellent job with our master bathroom remodel. Highly recommend! We needed to remodel our bathroom after some water got behind some tile, causing damage. When we first got quotes, we chose HYD not because it was the cheapest, but because the project manager (Tee) gave a thorough estimate, asked good questions, and gave us the confidence he had the time, attention, and skill set to get it done right. We also liked working with a company local in Tucker. We got started on the project - despite many supply delays (supply chain woes of 2021/2022) HYD worked with our schedule and got crews out to the home quickly as our materials arrived. The crews worked with us to implement the design we wanted, including customizations around tile design, colors, and materials. It was clear to me that the crews had a good relationship with HYD and Tee - which we appreciated and was a sign of mutual trust. HYD was very communicative and worked around our calendar to schedule crew visits. As the project neared completion, one member of the plumbing crew (appeared to be an apprentice) made an error of inexperience, leading to water damage in our walls and garage ceiling. It was a major bummer, as the project was nearly finished, and we were going to have to open some walls and pull back carpet to assess and repair the damage. However, HYD went above and beyond to rectify the issue. They worked to pull up carpet, dry our walls, repaint and repair damaged areas, and return the damaged spaces back to normal. They also provided compensation by making all repairs at no cost to us and providing double the compensation we had asked for for the lost time and hassle. In my view, this was what made HYD stand out above other contractors and firms we’ve worked with in the past: when the damage was done, they took ownership of it, fixed it as quickly as possible, and gave us double what we asked for in compensation for the time lost and hassle. They even installed a light in our kitchen that wasn’t in our estimate free of charge. In my experience, finding a trustworthy and honorable company who will do this for their clients is a rare find. And so while it may seem odd to give a 5 star review in this situation, I hope readers will interpret this as a rating of HYDs integrity, thoroughness, and responsibility as a reputable company. They will be there for you, even if the project gets tough. We absolutely love our new master bathroom and will be asking HYD to assist with other projects in the future.”

They were courteous and professional at all times, and finished the project ahead of schedule. They were patient and informative during the planning process, and they recommended a material and a finish that perfectly suited our needs. Six months later, the kitchen island countertop still looks as good as new, even with our two rambunctious toddlers using it as a breakfast table daily. It's become a centerpiece to our kitchen, and to our home. Our walnut bathroom vanity top always elicits compliments from houseguests. It adds a unique warmth and charm to our bathroom. We wondered how it would hold up in a wet environment, but at this point our concerns are gone -- no damage or water stains to speak of.
