John came by our home many times to make sure everything was going well with all of the sub contractors. He followed up with us after each phase of our remodel. “Rachel Hutchens is an incredible designer! ¬¬We love our newly remodeled open concept kitchen. Rachel takes the time to get to know her clients and their tastes. She’s a very good listener. At the beginning of the process she asked me to begin collecting pictures of kitchens that appealed to me. True story …. We met on several occasions and I was able to share my vision for our new kitchen but, what I was describing was not matching the pictures I was saving on Pinterest. Rachel carefully shared her thoughts and helped me see that what I wanted was a modern farmhouse. Along the way, Rachel gave us multiple versions of designs and was always willing to tweak them to make it easier for us to make decisions. Besides designing our kitchen Rachel was involved in all aspects of our project by helping us select flooring materials, paint and cabinet colors, hardware, new fireplace design and lighting fixtures. She took us shopping for backsplash tile and countertops. She responded to questions promptly which helped keep the worries down to a minimum. Remodeling can be quite stressful and she was incredibly understanding and willing to support. We couldn’t be more please with the results and highly recommend Rachel to anyone dreaming of a new beautiful kitchen!”

“Shawn Aya of Aya Homes built the home that we bought. He built this house with a lot of quality in it. The workmanship was very good. The house has lot of upgrades that he put in the house. Some of the upgrades are 8 foot high insulated ceiling in the garage, a passive radon system, three-quarter inch stained solid wood floor, tray ceilings in all bedrooms, under kitchen cabinets LED lights, wider stairs to the basement, decora light switches to name a few. We built the house finished. Most of the upgrades he built into the house, we did not add them. We do not know anything about the project dates, costs, and deadlines.”

“We had them build shelves in our bonus room, which has a slanted ceiling. They turned out great! We are very happy with their work, and found them very pleasant to work with. They didn't make a mess, and we felt like we could trust them in our house. The only problem we had at all was a that their painter wasn't able to finish painting our wainscoting in a timely manner, so we had to do it ourselves.”
