“We have worked with Larry Routen on two major projects 10 years apart. In 2004, when we wanted to remodel our kitchen, we learned of Larry from a neighbor that had used Larry to design their new kitchen. So, we contacted Larry and began the process. We had a detailed, 2-page list of what we liked and wanted in a new kitchen. Larry was able to meet all the items on our wish list and give us a kitchen that we still love 10 years later. Late last year, we decided to build an addition with a new master bathroom and exercise room. So, we called up Larry and he was more than happy to work with us once again. We told Larry what we wanted and he again worked his design magic to make it happen. We now have a beautiful addition with a master bathroom that is beautiful and functional. Larry hit a home run once again for us. Larry Routen is a true professional and a designer that truly listens to the client and produces a design that meets or exceeds your expectations. Larry worked side by side with our contractor and helped bring it all together. I would highly recommend Larry to anyone wanting to remodel a kitchen, bath, closet, etc.”

“This business employs professional people who are very knowledgable of their skill and are excellent at developing plans that utilize every bit of space. The products are of very high quality. Price is average but then again if you buy cheap you get cheap. They stand behind their products that are custom built if need be, so there is nothing cheap here. Keep up the great work!!!”

“DHM Remodeling finished our walk-out basement in record time and with the real professionalism -- he attended to details that we hadn't even considered (eg matching the stair rails for the lower level with other railings in the house). and we could not be more pleased with our basement. He's pleasant to work with, highly ethical and a perfectionist in terms of his work ethic and his pricing is very reasonable. We highly ecommend him and would definitely use him for future projects.”

Not only did he come up with a great plan, but he was conscious of what we could afford to spend and kept it exactly on budget. His professionalism and work ethic were obvious. It was the best part of our house move and restoration.”

“We have had Larry Routen with Lifestyle Kitchen and Bath help us with several projects over the last 10 years. Everything from a small lake house bath remodel to a full blown kitchen and master bath in our permanent home. We have been extremely pleased with all his work. Larry developed a creative design for our smallish master bath area. He supplied all the materials and coaching while our own general contractor did the work. We continue to enjoy this well utilized area with top of the line cabinets and fixtures. Larry performed a complete design and build project for our kitchen. Cabinets, appliances, flooring, bulkheads - everything complete! Larry pulled off this remodel flawlessly while we were away on a two week Alaskan cruise. He held our home keys and coordinated his workers every day. We vacationed without worry. The project was complete when we returned home. We still love it today, a few years after it was completed. We receive many compliments on our new, updated kitchen. We highly recommend Larry Routen for any size project. He has proven himself to be fair and honest. “I have worked with Shelly on many projects throughout the years, she is always been very meticulous in what she does. Shelly goes far above and beyond to make sure that her designs meet the customers needs, she looks at every aspect of the project paying close attention to detail and Design. I have been a contractor in the Indianapolis area for 22 years, I have worked with many designers throughout those years, I would say in my professional opinion Shelly is definitely the best designer I have worked with I have never had any issues or shortcomings with her designs / projects, she always double checks what she orders to make sure that there are no missing pieces are left out parts, and from an installer point of view that is very important. Because a simple wrong cabinet or a simple piece of missing molding or a filler can cause weeks of delay to a project. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for somebody to go the extra mile and step outside of the box a little bit with a kitchen or bath design.”
