We needed to create an accessible master bath with a curb-less shower, a sink area to accommodate a mobility scooter, and lots of grab bars. Larry was extremely helpful, combining his knowledge of design, construction and planning with what we knew we would need. The result is a beautiful and accessible bath. Larry worked closely with us and with his sub contractors who were fabulous to keep things on pace. If there was anything that didn't go according to plan Larry had a solution right away. He is very professional, knowledgable and a pleasure to work with.

We love our kitchen! Larry made renovating our 1990's kitchen so much easier by making choices and suggestions to narrow down the endless possibilities. He's been there, done that, so you can trust the finished product will be what you want. Larry takes care of all the details and his crew was great to work with. Dan (the builder) is a wizard! Lisa and I had been wanting to remodel our small master bath for several years. When a friend told us how pleased he was with Larry Routen, we decided to take the plunge. We liked Larry from the first time we met and the feeling only increased as the project went on. He came to the house and we talked about what we wanted. It involved the complete gutting of our old bathroom, down to the drywall and in some places the studs themselves. Larry quickly understood our desires and drew up preliminary plans and then detailed drawings and CAD projections, getting our feedback every step of the way to make sure what he conceived was in line with our wishes. His decades of experience were invaluable in suggesting things we hadn’t thought of, but perfectly matching our final goal. He offered materials and cabinetry that we would not have known about otherwise. It was a perfect marriage of our vision and Larry’s expertise in how to get us there. He was absolutely upfront about what the project would involve, including the costs and timelines. There were no hidden expenses, no “gotchas” to worry about. When the project actually got underway, we were happy to find that he hired only the very best craftspeople – each one was personable and exacting and worked on our project like it was their own home. And Larry didn’t disappear when the workers came on. He was here almost every day to make sure things were done to his satisfaction and on schedule. Larry far exceeded our expectations regarding the remodel of our kitchen. Our kitchen project involved removal of soffets, extension of a wall into the garage, drywalling, ceiling work, painting, new lighting, all new cabintry, counter tops and new appliances. At every step of which we needed guidance. When he completed the intricate design and reviewed every detail with us Larry arranged for the purchase of all the cabintry to be delievered to our home, met with all the tradesmen together at our home so they could see the plans, reveiw their schedules and commit as a group on a starting date that would work for them and ouselves. When the work began Larry arrived at our home every morning to review the work, talk to his tradesmen, resolve any issue specific to our home and discuss the work with us. This was a class act. Larry was no absentee contractor! To sum: the tradesmen Larry employed for our project were simply excellent. Their attention to detail was amazing. Perhaps the best compliment to Larry is to say thanks to the people he brought in to work on our home.

Over the years Larry has done for me two kitchens, four baths, a utility room, and cabinetry for a dining room, living room, and bedroom. The results always have been superb. Larry Routen, Lifestyle Kitchen and Baths, was a genuine pleasure to work with during the custom design and remodeling of our master bathroom and kitchen. We were impressed with Larry's professionalism and attention to detail from the very first meeting in his showroom. The island with butcher block counter top is the kitchen’s most prominent feature. Larry designed a matching butcher block table for the kitchen. The lighting in the kitchen is perfect, with adjustable lighting for all areas: overhead, counter space, over table and island.

We have had Larry Routen with Lifestyle Kitchen and Bath help us with several projects over the last 10 years. Everything from a small lake house bath remodel to a full blown kitchen and master bath in our permanent home. We have been extremely pleased with all his work. Larry developed a creative design for our smallish master bath area. He supplied all the materials and coaching while our own general contractor did the work. We continue to enjoy this well utilized area with top of the line cabinets and fixtures. Larry performed a complete design and build project for our kitchen. Cabinets, appliances, flooring, bulkheads - everything complete! Larry pulled off this remodel flawlessly while we were away on a two week Alaskan cruise. He held our home keys and coordinated his workers every day. We vacationed without worry. The project was complete when we returned home. We still love it today, a few years after it was completed. We receive many compliments on our new, updated kitchen. We highly recommend Larry Routen for any size project. He has proven himself to be fair and honest.
