“The team at Master Builder did a great job and were extremely professional. We hired them to remodel our all our baths and kitchen. The work included new tile, new cabinets and new bathtub installation. The kitchen included new design with all things installed. They outsourced some of the plumbing but performed most of the work themselves. They are detail oriented and left a clean work area each evening. They used the garage for their shop throughout the remodel and it worked fine. They also bring a trailer with an impressive array of professional tools. Everyone listened to our questions and suggestions. They were fair about changes or mistakes which happens with any large jobs. My only recommendation is to get clear understanding of the type and frequency of communication you want to receive. I like emails answered in 24 hours and had to learn that isn't their style so if I didn't get a response in 48 I'd email back with an ETA for the response otherwise we were very happy. They were always prompt and arrived when scheduled. This is a great team to work with and I'm confident we'll have them do more work in the next few years.”

“It 's not very easy for my husband to spend money, but our deck was becoming a hazard. We had a hole our dog could fall through and a broken rotting hot tub that needed to be scrapped . A major issue was the deck being thirty feet in the air so it was clear we couldn't do this ourselves. Brian Kashas inspired confidence and a vision of a beautiful deck we could actually use. Everyday there was an amazing transformation, the work was being done at an incredible rate. Everything went according to a plan that was very clearly spelled out to us before any work occurred. If there were problems, we didn't know about it until there was a plan to fix it or it had already been fixed. The bid was what we actually paid for the project, there was nothing that wasn't unforeseen by the company. workers were respectful, clean, and prompt. They made the work place safe for both my children and my dogs. Today we have an amazing deck that is a place where we can hold dinner parties, hang out and read, and this summer will have installed a new hot tub in a better covered location. Our next project is the kitchen, and we will be confidently trusting MillerKashas to do the job.”

“Last fall, we took on our first remodel project (master bath) and hired Kathie Maughan to work with us on the project. While we had the choice of just having her do a design for us, we knew we wanted the added comfort of having her handle all the details, and had her manage the project as well. This was a really good decision. Kathie made sure we felt comfortable with every phase of the project and worked hard at correcting any issues that came up. She checked in almost every day and was always available to answer my questions (even on a Saturday at one point). But beyond the pleasure of working with Kathie, is the pleasure of working with her wonderfully conscientious crew. They answered questions, explained processes and were unfailingly friendly and courteous. This is a great bunch of people to have come into your home and leave a beautiful space behind. “Doug makes amazing cabinets. 25 years ago he made all the cabinetry, both kitchen and bath for my parents. They have been well used by a large family. Everyone of the cabinets is very well built and still look gorgeous today! The cabinets are a modern slab without pulls, and you would not know they weren't put in recently. He carefully chose the fronts so that the wood grain flows together and has nice movement. If you want lovely cabinets, well built, that will last forever, Doug will do it! Of course, you may have to get on his list, because as with all great professionals, he is busy, but worth the wait. (I am having him do my cabinets this year.)”

In 2023, we needed to replace windows on our beach house he was the only person we contacted. His workmanship and attention to detail is incredible.
