“I cannot recommend Mark highly enough. We were fortunate to find Mark two years ago after we purchased a large 1930 Tudor home that needed a lot of work. Since then, Mark has transformed our home into an arts & crafts masterpiece. From handmade rounded oak plank doors to built-in bookcases and desks indistinguishable from the finest Stickley furnishings from which they were modeled, Mark has turned a home with good "bones" into our dream home. While Mark can do it all - including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work - he is more than anything, a true craftsman. Mark transformed our house without architectural drawings - instead relying on his own instincts, some pictures we found on the internet, and some preliminary sketches from a design professional. Mark also is an amazing trouble shooter. Whenever we encountered a problem while Mark was working in our home, Mark quickly solved it, even when the issue was beyond the scope of his contract. We are already looking forward to our next home renovation project with Mark.”

“From the moment I met Viktor and Owen of IVO Granite, I knew they were the folks I wanted to do business with for my kitchen countertops. Their professionalism, patience, knowledge, honesty, and workmanship are second to none! Unlike the big box stores who sell you the product and then farm the installation out to a third party, Viktor and Owen were personally/directly involved in every step of the process from material selection all the way through installation Furthermore, their prices are better than the big box stores, and the don't charge additional for sink installation, cutting large radius corners, etc. - all of the "little things" that add up. I would unequivocally recommend IVO Granite to anyone looking to get quartz, marble, or granite work done in the greater Utica, NY area.”

“I don't even know where to begin to say how happy we are that we chose Haines & Haines. We first began looking to reface old cabinets. The first contractor we had come over was a friend who could take our money but was honest and said they needed to be replaced and he could give us names of contractors. Haines & Haines was one of them. They were close to my home so I went to their show room and was WOWED! My husband was not in favor of doing anything different to our kitchen and I thought he would never go for this. I looked at two other places to compare and they were nowhere near a comparison to custom cabinets as they would be cookie cutter and we had a rather small kitchen. Ultimately my husband was so impressed that it was he who said "if we're going to do it, let's do it right and it will be Haines & Haines". They were able to draw up plans and a budget. With all their talent and experience, they were able to provide so much more than we could ever imagined. They made use of every square inch. Never any pressure or surprises. The project stayed within budget and completed on time. So much attention to detail. We ended up gutting the entire kitchen down to the studs, ceiling and floor and even knocking out a wall. Workers were awesome. They arrived on time each day and cleaned up before they left. I don't know that I would feel comfortable with anyone else in our home each day on their own but there was never a concern. Every single day, still 3 years later, are so thankful we and LOVE our kitchen! Just beautiful!”

“I highly recommend Chaber Construction. They recently completed a kitchen renovation for me and I couldn't be happier with the job! They were extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. They arrived on time every day, cleaned up before they left and they completed the job faster than I expected. I had a few ideas that I was hoping to incorporate into the design and they did an amazing job making it happen. The detail of their work is truly impeccable. I would definitely hire them for another project!”

“We have worked with Tim in various capacities for over 20 years. His eye for detail and meticulous management style are perfectly complimented by his time-honed carpentry skills. Unfortunately, we don't get the chance to work with him as much these days - the 9 hour commute from Syracuse can be a burden. Without hesitation, I recommend hiring Tim for any project, large or small.”
