“I literally cannot say enough good things about Imperial Kitchens and Baths. They combined a dreadful, cramped, dated, narrow little kitchen with a wasted enclosed sunporch to create an *AMAZING* kitchen. Walls were moved, floors were torn up and replaced, mystery plumbing was discovered (and repaired *properly*I) subfloor radiant heat was installed, walls were tiled, new cabinets and counter tops were fabricated and installed, and paired with new faucets and appliances to create .. did I mention *AMAZING*? The designers understood our style and our budget, and made recommendations that brought both together to create the best possible kitchen for a cold Chicago winter morning - from the warm floors to the gleaming tile (with a stop at the built-in Miele coffee system) it is an amazing space first thing in the morning, and so open and easy to cook in it's hard to believe it's real.”

“Denise became like a welcome member of our family: I always felt that I could call her with questions or concerns and she would take pains to understand exactly what I wanted and would act immediately upon it. She is the consummate professional, but personable and a great hand holder. She has a wonderfully creative eye and came up with ideas that never would have occurred to me and went beyond every other designer's suggestions. I love my kitchen, thanks to her, and would not hesitate to use her for any project, any where.”

“Melinda was invaluable as we began our kitchen remodel. Navigating the process of designing an IKEA kitchen - that doesn’t look like an IKEA kitchen - is not easy to do on your own. Melinda’s experience really came through in a thoughtful design that balances our small-ish space and need for ample storage with a custom look. She brought us numerous ideas that we never would have come up with on our own and helped us land on a final option that is both beautiful and functional. She represents an outstanding value and we have already started referring her to family and friends. Don’t hesitate to partner with her on your next project, she’s awesome!”

“Jill is the perfect designer. She works diligently to get you the room you want. She is focused and multi-dimensional in that she has such a vast amount of knowledge combined with true artistic flair. It is so refreshing to work with someone who presents ideas or samples and when you say no she just continues presenting new ideas and concepts. I also really like it when I ask her for something out of the box she delivers with cutting edge ideas that I would never have thought of but love. She also is outstanding in her ability to match colors in a multiple media such as tile, stone, fabric and paint. I think her design for me is flawless.”

Working with them has been fascinated, they know how to schedule all trades so they can do their jobs and not have us being on top of each other. “This was an amazing example of when a professional know what they are doing, their product(s) and pays attention to the details, EVERYTHING goes right! Colette was always prepared, creative and on top of all aspects of the project. She handled all the components of our new kitchen i.e. cabinets, appliances, counter tops, custom stonework etc. It all came together seamlessly. Now I get to enjoy the best new kitchen in Chicago!”

“Julie, at Refresh My Space, was extremely professional and fabulous to work with! She helped me fully remodel 2 bathrooms from top to bottom. Julie was with me every step of the way, from choosing new plumbing and lighting fixtures, flooring, tile, paint…you name it! She has excellent vision and wondeful connections for completing the job in a timely fashion. My husband and I couldn’t be more pleased with Refresh My Space!”

“I chose Habitar Design and Stratagem Construction as they were able to provide a complete end to end service. Karl our designer was able to interpret our vague instructions into the most beautiful design imaginable and the construction team were able to implement the design precisely, such that our bathroom now looks like it could come straight from a design magazine. Far from being the stressful experience that I had expected this stage to be Karl, made the whole thing an absolute joy and dare I say it, fun! The construction team were punctual, polite and kept everything as clean as possible. They made sure where anything was unclear that they checked with us to make sure our exact wishes were met. Any small issues were well documented by the project manager and expectations as to the fix provided and met. Mitch was able to give us a quote that was within our budget and also met all of our requirements. The quote was fixed at the beginning so there were not surprises either along the way or at the end. All in all from design through to delivery of our bathroom everything was to a very high quality and met our expectations. I would recommend and use this company again in a heartbeat.”
